I always lived this game, even through the jank. Put almost 300 hours into it pre edgerunners. Picked it back up after watching edgerunners right before the 2.0 update. Mf, if you havent played it recently or yet, you gotta do it now.

I absolutely love the game. Never been so immersed into a game and attached to its characters. Although cdpr is moving onto its sequel for it and the game has finished on a great note, I wish we got more like another dlc.

I played it on launch on a fairly high end PC and didn't have any real issues. But now...the game is on another level.

I love cyberpunk 2077, could be so much better and less buggy but I think it’s such a fun and interesting game and story

i feel like the launch of cyberpunk and how 'bad' it was is often overstated.

the console launch was pretty shambolic but as someone that played from day 1 on pc i thought it was fine, a little clunky maybe but hardly unplayable (though tbf i didnt really follow the hype or buildup too closely so didnt have any expectations)

Stayed up late on launch day, had it preloaded and was waiting impatiently for the release. On my PC build it was incredible, played it all the way through along side my mate who was playing on his own PC, we both had such an incredible experience (yeah there were bugs, but nothing to write home about, pretty standard for open world games on the PC).
Inevitably I've joined the CDPR forums to chat about the game and frequented reddit as well, let's just say that I've leaned the hard way that myself and my mate were in the minority when it came to experiencing this game.
It's funny to me, the consoles get a bad port of a PC game and all hell breaks loose, we, the PC gamers, have been enduring DECCADES of bad PC ports one after another, it's happening now as we speak where a game that runs smoothly on PS5/XboxOne X/S requires ungodly amounts of hardware power to run at any acceptable framerate (60-144) at slightly higher settings than the console counterparts... UNNACEPTABLE, both markets deserve a fair treatment, especially now when the economy is what it is and any sort of hardware costs a small fortune.
    UNNACEPTABLE!
And then we have Cyberpunk which looks and runs incredibly well for the scale of the game.
Don't get me started on the beloved RockStar Games and their PC ports, or FromSoft, or Bethesda, or Ubisoft, or EA, or Epic etc. etc. etc.
    We live in interesting times...
Anyway, wanted to say that this video is a very balanced point of view and it's a fantastic piece of work, thank you for this.

I played Cyberpunk 2077 at release and it was fine. It had a few bugs but nothing like what you're showing. Then again, I played on PC and not Console, so you get what you pay for, I guess. It was good then. I'm actually not sure it's better now. Seems like it peaked at 1.5 and it's more buggy in 2.0 and 2.0.1.

Finished the game at launch on PC, and honestly the only thing that really bothered me were the skill trees which felt uninspired, and broken. I thought it was very playable at launch. PS4 never got 2.0, and it's performance still dips to the low 20s.

It's good that they managed to get out of it. And it's important that they learn something. Now we'll see how the new CP and The Witcher 4 turn out.

I am very, very glad with the update 2.0, but unfortunately (or fortunately, perhaps?), CDPR will just move on and develop a new Cyberpunk game, when there is still a lot of work to be done with 2077, because despite the game being worth it nowadays, it still has some missing features that were promised long ago. I wish CDPR continued giving this game major updates like they did now. This game could really use some AI logic overhauls, NPC overhauls, driving overhaul, massive bug fixes, new side jobs and types of jobs, and gradual implementation of everything that was promised years ago.
I just hope that this new Cyberpunk game really impresses players with an even better gameplay, story, atmosphere, city ambience, etc. I hope this new game serves as proof that CDPR learned from it's mistakes.

Cyberpunk 2077 is literally another Starfield case but 10 times worse, but people "forgive it," because they made the game 10% closer to what was promised with a paid DLC.
They promised a next-gen RPG, ended up releasing a linear bargain bin Far Cry game. Yeah, the city looks good. So what? There is nothing to do in it.
CDPR may have won some people, they angered lots of their fans especially the people who were expecting an actual RPG.

Cyberpunk 2077's problems were never about the bugs or performance. All the clickbaiting content creators, Twitter trash and GaMe JoUrNaLisTs decided that the bugs and optimization is the easiest target.
Under the bugs and optimization issues, lies a mediocre game far far away from their promise even MONTHS before launch. Remember that "branching paths," trailer? The narrator telling you how much your choices impact the world? Yeah, that turned out to be an absolute bullshit and they dared to release it months before launch.
Not to mention all those gang videos, devs talking about the gangs and saying that "oh you will be doing missions for them you are a mercenary!" only for those missions to end up being boring "go shoot this," stuff and only one mission for each which takes like 3 minutes to finish.
      And the life paths? Lol.

    • @fortnight5677
      @fortnight5677 8 месяцев назад

Retarded average people already forgot all the lies because CDPR released some action filled DLC by using yet another movie star to market it.
This is like forgiving all the fucking stupid DC Cinematic Universe movies because the cities look good and Keanu Reeves is the Batman.

I hated cyberpunk when it released. Even on pc it was a horrible experience. Now it's a fine game, but the promises they made during promotion were not really there. Vor example: 3 starts that are hugely different?? Nope

"Barely playable", lol. Stop repeating memes. The game was fine at launch, on pc. Consoles had issues for sure, but even then it was playable even on ps4, the worst port. Everyone i know irl loved the game from launch, even the people who played on ps4.
It was a bad console launch exacerbated by people who didn't play it spreading the memes. On pc even on fairly old hardware the game played fine with only a normal amout of at launch bugs or issues for a AAA game.

Yeah no Cyberpunk is a failure it’s continued to be a failure and will be remembered as a failure and possibly the thing that kills CD project red trying to claim the minority of owners on PCs as the reason it’s had a “resurgence” along with citing some rando ass cartoon shows you did fuck all for research. Like yeah no shit the guy that dropped $1200 on a computer and is able to shell out the $700 dollars every year for upgrades kinda has a advantage over the guy that just wants to play it on his PS4. It was busted they knew it was busted and they sent it out anyway and now hardly anyone talks about it or plays it. It is a failure.

Still the same mediocre game, slightly polished but far from fixed, still full of glitches, the same lame story and characters and DLC is even worse. CDPR only invested huge money in marketing, PR and paid shills, and suddenly most people love it for no other reason but because it's trendy. Herd mentality.

Really, you could've shown exactly this footage on the first day after release three years ago
