@@DomiBlueShellz cacophony had overall more groundbreaking technique, but sometimes it was just mindless shredding and the vocalist is terrible. racer x used to make much better music and scarified alone influenced most neoclassical guitar instrumentals that came after it. u can definitely see the scarified influence in this song stratovarius.
Dang that was tight!! For the majority of that clip I had trouble hearing the two separate guitars in my headphones. This is a fantastic example of not just great playing but also experienced listening as these guys were able to lock in time together and nail those unison parts. Just brilliant.
There were a couple moments where it sounded like one of them wasn’t as clean, but it was very subtle. I really like how their bends and vibrato were locked in at the end.
Picture this There's a genie, he grants me one wish and one wish only. My wish would be to know what it must feel like to perfectly nail a shred session tight af with your boi, look over afterwards and both say "we fuckin nailed that dude" without saying a word.
@@2paktolife Brandon hits the strings harder. Teemu is probably more efficient in terms of less energy, but Brandon's attack and vibrato are insanely aggressive.
@@2paktolife Teemu is one of the most precise guitarists you'll ever see. He makes the more complex Wintersun stuff look effortless. Very underrated, since he's basically a session musician.
Teemu has his picking hands fingers tucked in, Brandon has them extended. This little thing affects the entire movement of his attack and speed. I have been practicing holding a spare pick in my picking hand held by my middle, ring, and pinky forcing me to tuck my fingers. Issue now is syncing my fretting hand to my picking hand. Lesson here, practice picking fretting at the same time. 😂
Teemu looks like using some kind of cheat code because it looks so effortless for him. His technique is really really economical for the movement he has to do.
I used to go nuts as a 16 year old kid over this sort of stuff . Friedman and becker were all the rage etc . However at 50 years old it does nothing for me now , I can appreciate the work involved in this sort of playing and they are both unreal but I much rather jam to EVH stuff and look for tone than a million notes .
Look how efficient Temmu's right hand is.
It's insane. No unnecessary movments at all, his technique is so smooth,
Check out Michael Romeo's picking hand^^
Reminds me of Alexi and Roope playing Vivaldi \m/
totally
On Par!lol
You mean Alexi and Alexander
@@anthonyhavemann2237 They did one too right? Roope did Vivaldi with Alexi right?
@@anthonyhavemann2237 no it was roope and alexi
I didn't know these dudes knew each other! Awesome!
they dont, they just happened to start playing the same song at the same time and turns out george lucas was filming the whole time
All the amazing players know each other....there's a handbook
@@maaaaaapseems legit
One of them is filling in, in MEGADETH right now
They toured together back in 2013 back when Brandon was in Arsis and they opened up for Wintersun
What a couple. New gen is absolutely in great hands.
These two are one of my favorite guitarists! And in the same video?! Amazing
These 2 need to make an album together. Absolute legends!
Right? I'm seeing some cacophony potential here.
Present day BECKER and FRIEDMAN!!!!!🤑 Not even kidding. These guys can fuckin SHRED. 🤑
Reminds me of Marty Friedman and Jason Becker.
Man they should a Cacophony cover🤘🤘
That's awesome. Kinda reminds me of old Racer X.
You should check out old Stratovarius
Stratosphere - Stratovarius
Timo Tolkki. One of a kind
Funny how some of the comments mention Marty Friedman here especially since Teemu plays in Megadeth now
The greatest duo since cacophony
Racer X were miles better than CaCKophony

If kiko says he's good, im sure he'll be great!

I just got my face melted off
Awesome Duo, Great playing🤘🤘, the first pattern reminded me of Paul Guilbert Scarified
Now for the hair contest I gotta give it to Brandon since I had hair like his when I was younger.
man that is awesome...the chemistry is godlike..
Interesting watching the different economies of movement of their picking hands
Teemu seems more consistent, both Guitar gods.

Wow
I can hear 1 pick chopping away the other 1 nice and quiet/smooth/ crisp 🤘
Teemu tem uma palhetada calma e simpática ❤virtuosa …
Tolkki had influenced these both without doubt. Great cover btw.
You guys should try synchronized swimming!

Keep practicing boys. You’ll get the hang of it some day. 😂 Amazing.
Very good playing. 👍
So good
Crazy good ❤
Look at the differences in their picking hands. Both are great players...but Teemu is extremely relaxed..and Ellis is really pushing him limits.
Both are relaxed, Brandon just has a stronger pick attack
Perfect !
Reminds me of Becker and Friedman.
Thats such a nice Jackson
Yeah it is. I've had that exact model and paint for decades.
I remember when I could play shit like that back in the day. Getting old sucks.................
Like what do you even say about that? Good job? The fuck. XD
Two words
Fucking brutal
🤘👹🤘.
It was either Teemu or Brandon to join Megadeth
damn they are litteraly clones XDD awesome playing, stratosphere is one of my personal favourite from stratovarius
Top 10 anime crossovers.

Teemu
Amazing guitar skills.

Reminds me of marty & jason a LITTLE bit 😂 not sure they were even born back then 😂
what is that Ibanez model?
Teemu technique is more efficient
What is the specific model of that Ibanez reverse headstock?
It's a heavily modified Ibanez Jake Bowen model JBM100 with Evertune bridge and Fishman pickups.
The name of the song ?

No se para que xxa ensayo :'v
a modern jason becker and marty friedman
Megadeth & TBDM

Timo Tolkki was the best guitarist in terms of composition and feel.
Who are these guys and why do most of you know who they are?

Sounds like scarified lmfao.
