Elle my flight was delayed 4 hours in New Jersey and they got us a new plane. After that when we reached Munich we were delayed 9 hours and 40 minutes on a 9 day trip to see my family in Greece. I was so upset!!!! It was horrible! We arrived and decided to stay at a hotel. Just crazy united airlines experience. 😪

You made it! Thankfully you didn't go to the airport. I once received a call saying my flight was delayed for 7 hours as we were pulling up to the departures, and I was living quite far from YEG. Apparently the plane had hit the gate at it's previous destination and needed to be replaced.
Elle, I'm glad you were safe anyway although it was not an ideal situation :) And I think it was nice that you got to stay home instead of waiting in a blunt airport. I like to go to airports because of a trip ahead of me but I always have to pray for safe and smooth trip.
