As a left handed (write,foot,eat, dominant eye, and picking a guitar before learning) the first time i've picked a right handed guitar I was like "naaah it's the wrong side" but with the choice you got in guitars in 2003-4 and as a left handed i've deveided to play as a right handed. After more than one year of training with my clumsy right hand each movement feels strange... now after 12y of hard practice, i think i have a solid advanced level, my left hand turned to be the clumsy one when i pick a left handed guitar. So you need to practice, practice, practice and a lot of patience...
