Such a shame Chris Langham was lost to the world. This was brilliant on both radio and TV
agreed, such a brilliant comedic actor!
I'm so glad to find these here! I love the radio version - one of my all-time favourite 'laugh out louds'!
Just awesome to hear these again 😂😂😂
How us old folks miss people like Chris Langham! A Genius who created much pleasure for everyone (well those with a sense of humour, anyway!) Thank you BBC too for broadcasting it!

Thanks so much for the Roy Mallard.
Don't mention it. Since the BBC have forgotten about some of my best work, I decided I'd have to preserve it myself

“He knows every one of his cows by name”……”Ear tag gerrin’ there!!” 😂😂😂
Such a brilliant script.
“My father was put on this earth to do one thing, and that’s to farm.”
“And what about your mother?”
“Okay, two things.”

Unsquare Dance by Dave Brubeck the theme. A remake was used by Emma Thompson for the theme of her comedy sketch show Thompson.

I think "Ugborough College of Agriculture" was probably based on my old college, Seale Hayne Agricultural College in Devon!
Was there an episode set in a police station
Yeh on u tube ? It’s not much like the bill ?
I love these, but 1.Why do they sound fast and 2. where's the Panto episode?
He was lost for having indecent child pictures on his pc ?
He went to jail for it.
Roy Mallard is pushier and more irritable than the hapless figure he later evolved into.
It's true, it was a while before I settled into my new role as a documentary maker. The early days were fun though.
