the thing is that they are not there to test their knowledge.
The written tests both objective and descriptive are so difficult and vast in syllabus that their knowledge has already been tested in those tests.
What they're actually testing here is the candidate's patience, confidence, and adaptability and how well they handle situations in pressure.

the key to these interviews is you should try as much as possible to not sound biased, stern or rigid in your views, your values and answers should align with practicality, and the constitution of India irrespective of your personal ideology

    • @jhaipi90
      @jhaipi90 10 месяцев назад +2

I don't think its the exam that tests you as to how good of a slave you can be, its the job that does it. We have plenty of examples of 'not slaves' and still Civil Servants, which proves that it isn't impossible to not be a slave.
Bas gooda chahie hota hai, comfort chhordna padta hai, ab ya to family ke saath rah lo politicians or seniors ki chaatkar ya transfer transfer khelte raho.
If significant number of Civil servants get comfortable with transfers, I think the system will start rewarding not being a slave.

It's a personality test, it's not a test of ones intelligence.
It mainly evaluate you on how you perform under pressure and also test how you make decisions. Your intelligence is already tested in Mains.

Cropping patterns is such an important topic in geography! !! And it is imperative for a person wanting to be an officer in india, a country whose large part of population is still involved in agriculture! That's like bare minimum! Also about fishes, it's not dumb. This is something we studied back in school. The areas in ocean where the warm and cold currents meet form excellent grounds of fishing! This is a topic in commercial geography. The countries around such marine regions have a large part of their population earning a livelihood through pisciculture.

Every information based question they are asking is relevant, in geography we study different climate patterns in areas and accordingly their effects on crop cultivations and lifestyle of people of that region and that too in early classes and for a administrator of a region it's important to know the geographical condition and crop patterns so they can make help farmers which are the large population in states of up, bihar punjab, etc and another thing is they are not here to just ask a straight question and get a bookish answer they want to dig into her mind and can see whether she could think and handle things well in odds

3:50 , what i think he ment by that is ki agar sab collage iit ban jayenge toh voh competition khatam ho jayega there is no concept of competition, i get the point every collage should have better infrastructure and campus just like the iits, it is also important to have the hierarchy of these collages

She gave wrong answer on oil.
In North people use mustard oil coz it's cold in North and mustard oil is hot and warm when consumed. There is also loads of mustard farms. So it's science and farm, climate etc that influence ones palate.
Same in south people use coconut oil coz coconut is in excess, no mustard there..south is also hotter place, so coconut oil which is cool in nature helps to calm it down

He means to say that there is no value and exclusivity left for it then. Coz everything is same and generic. Champene and IIT are exclusive coz it's rare, top layer best, cut above the rest. If everything in society is champene and IIT means all type, kind of wine and people are it. Quality gets compromised, it becomes generic. No more rare, exclusive, best of best rank

ye banda apne ko tees maar khan samjhta hai.. bro if the exam is this easy, it wouldn’t have been tagged as one of the toughest exams in the world.the amount of hard goes to reach these interviews is incomparable to amount of research you should have done before making it look so casual

3:37 No you don't understand the point, let me explain you with a simple example- If whole world is CR7 then there is no CR7 Simply implies- That then there is no uniqueness about a person..Like Cr7 is famous for let's take CHOP SKILL, If Everyone knows CHOP SKILL, then it will just become a normal skill that everyone knows. Nothing Unique about that skill. Now if every wine is a champagne there is no champagne means, then champagne is now a normal drink and nothing Unique about that, no unique flavor or wine. All what's left is champagne that's what he means...Hope I made it easy...
4:52 that's because he wants to put pressure on her and tell her about her weak points, so that she doesn't fails to handle that pressure in real interview.
6:07 He can't let her go that's the pure point of mock interview to get you prepared for anything that's come to your way. They are future IAS/IPS or whatever they chose. They need to learn how to tackle any situation to run a country.
19:50 Thats not a vague ass question, the whole point was to test her climatical knowledge, how well a DM understands the climate of the country, since you live in a country which is an agriculture hub to be precise.

What he meant by "if every wine is champagne then there will be no champagne" is if every college is as special as IIT, then IIT won't be special any more, it won't be precious. Because it would become the norm.

The objective is not to let go... these are preparatory interview where the aptitude is tested of the candidate to refine and understand the presence of mind of the candidate in extreme pressure situation. Only the cream dela cream are selected to drive the nations administration.. these one of toughest exams to crack in the world not only in india.
