Are you joking?! i verden !!! out of 7000+ living languages in the world. Not even close of the most difficult in Europe! Come out of your self-absorbed cultural bubble! For anglophones, who share common linguistic roots, it must be the most easy to learn and speak of all the Scandinavian or even Germanic languages. Even pronunciation is quite easy. Among the very mixed student at my Norskkurs, it was mostly just people from Asian country struggling to says "u" or "o" (/y/ and /u/ in IPA). Rest is moderately difficult. It is not "norsk" the problem here, they are "just american" remember, who surely never learn another language that their own apart perhaps a bit of Spanish in school.

Nei hva faen. Norsk er enkelt å lære. Det er bare dialektene og litt grammatikk som er vanskelig for de fleste utlendingene.
