It has a very sharp initial launch, then there's a lag around 40-50 mph when the ICE kicks in, then it flies again with no lag. This is just for pure 0-60 acceleration.

I prefer the steering wheel to do its job, steer. If it were your choice, Clio or 208? Love my little French 🇫🇷 supermini’s
When I got my Clio I missed the audio controls on the steering wheel which my previous Seat had, but the downside to this is that when turning the wheel, trying to access audio controls is confusing as they are moving around in front of you. Having them fixed at the side behind the wheel means you always know where they are and can reach and adjust them irrespective of where the steering wheel is.
I've just ordered an Esprit Alpine 145 e-tech this week in The Netherlands. The one I ordered will come with a Bose audio system. Is this not available in the UK?
My gf bought one last week (also in the Netherlands) without the bose option. I find the audio quite good. But havent heard how the bose option sounds of 😅. Furthermore, she really loves the car. Hope you enjoy yours as well.

Als je een voorraad model neemt zou ik hameren op een scherpe prijs zo tegen het eind van het jaar 😆 de verkoper vertelde ons dat er vanuit Renault best wel gepusht wordt om bepaalde verkoop targets te behalen.

Hebben de Clio 5 als 1.0 3cilinder turbo van 2023 ... maar die krijg je niet onder de 6,5 Liter verbruik tussendoor. op de snelweg 4,5 Liter. Volgens velen reviewers hier is het verbruik van de full hybrid bij 100 Kmh snelweg een tegenvaller?? kun je dat bevestigen?
6k on 2 x Alpine hybrids. Fab car , seat steering HEATED etc . Stero v good. Carnt fault . Like any car its how you drive them returns best MPG. We average 70 to 80 plus mpg. On a 500 mile trip we used 200 miles in EV only. Some small trips 5 miles can be 4 mile in EV. Great on motorway aswell. Parking is a toddle. We have 3 in our family, inc 1 manual. Handling when pushing is like driving the old 5 GT Turbo. The yaris was on our short list, however glad went Renault route, the extras , full LED lighting , radar system, VERY comfortable seats, ALPINE bullseye.

My question is: on your dashboard, it's a black background and I drove one where it was orange or green if I was on the eco driving. Is it possible to change it to black like you had? And the lights at night underneath the car. Is it from a certain pack? Thank you!
The transmission is a sophisticated 4 speed which engages without a clutch as a motor deals with synchronising the changes. No reverse gear as that is electric only. So like the Yaris (which uses a sun/planet system with 2 motors) there are no clutches etc to wear out so should be reliable long term
@@GoksCarLounge When right foot is planted the motors and engine work together and it is like the proverbial youknowwhat of a shovel. 0=30 is near instantaneous like an EV
I've got my hybrid car now . Question: i have is i drive alot around town and motorways on fridays .What should i drive in for both occasions? ie: Eco for town and my sense for motorways? What do you think please 😊
When in doubt always keep it in eco! That’s likely to be the default program. Motorway driving will bring its own efficiently by sitting in the highest gear and cruising without constant start stop :)
Yes it has DAB MW and FM with a lot of preset locations which can be cycled with the little control stalk he showed to the right of the steering wheel.
The B braking mode is quite fierce but feathering the throttle allows it to be gentler. Very good on long steep downhills where the throttle can decide how fast you go or how much braking to do. (Of course you can use cruise control)

When you turn on the engine, the car starts always in MySense
Things the Techo doesn't have, Heated mirrors. Adaptive cruise. Auto high beam. (May need to upgrade to Alpine to get some/all of these)

Did you know you don’t have to use the key to lock or unlock the vehicle just walk away and it locks automatically
