Wow. It means so much when you mentioned us. Thank you. Channel all the love from your subscribers into your core memory so you can draw on it when times are difficult.
Saga, after answering your American grandma's questions on this video, I was thrilled‼️‼️‼️ Sometimes when we, as the public that watch yours and others, feel as though our comments are somehow lost. You are a beautiful child who deserves the many followers who love and care about you. Thank you for sharing your heart.💜
As a former librarian and English PhD - so impressed with your reading and sad about the NZ libraries! American libraries depend on the area but Iowa's are fantastic, they have both classic and more general appeal stuff. My taste usually runs to nonfiction and their content is great.
GAAAH!! You mentioned me!! Jag är så himla glad och förvånad! 😊 You mentioned that you got your e-book reader here in Japan - I live in Nagoya! I mean, I'm not Japanese... I'm Indigenous Canadian (Siksika/Mohawk-Cree) and Norwegian mix... but yeah, tack så mycket! 😊 Yes, I am the same way - Project Gutenberg is an awesome source for literature! Kindle is nice, too... I've published a few books there, and a great many classical works can be gotten there for free... you really might find it good to publish some of your experiences in a Kindle book - it's a good source of side-income to think about. Congrats again on your 10,000! And it seems (am I reading it correctly?) that it's now up to 16k? Wheeeeeee!! 🙂 Okay, I've written too much now ahahaha be well and safe, have fun - I look forward to your next video! Hejdå för nu, vi ses igen! 🙂
Haha wow so many fun things here!!!❤️ Thank you, tack! And how cool! I’d love to know more about publishing books, do you have Instagram? I’ve actually considered it but it would be very interesting to know from someone with experience! Ahh and I miss Japan. I lived in Tokyo, well outside Tokyo in Chiba, and there are so many things I miss! 🇯🇵
@@SagaJohanna Ah! Instagram? I **think** I have one... I don't use it much (I probably should) - oh, yes - I found it... it's "jeditarran" 🙂 Yes, publishing on Kindle is easy... once you have your word document all together, you convert it to HTML, and upload it. From there, after about 24-48 hours, it becomes available to the public! 😉
In England we think saga means a long story or a series of books like the lord of the rings more typically. Well your English is so good you probably already know this 😉
Much respect and admiration for your openness, honesty, and not least for your environmental ethics. As a lifelong book nerd I greatly appreciate your book recommendations. Do you have a list of your favorite books available?
Thank you so much! I’m working on a list to potentially share on my website! And now I know someone might be interested so that will motivate me to put it together :) I love recommending books!
Rewatching😅 I just want to say I really like how you said “ if you asked me when Im having a bad day if I was content with my wardrobe I’d probably say no..” very thought provoking. I resonate with that a lot. Then on a good day, I would feel really good about my wardrobe and choices! Our state of mind can really dictate how we feel.
Someone could tailor a wedding dress to be a maternity top or dress as well. Modifications would be in order and perhaps a color change- would be perfect for a baby shower party
Lovely video! Hello from South Australia! I was so interested to hear about the meaning of your name being the same word as fairy tales! I’m a mum to two and am really enjoying reading fairy tales to my littles who are attending a waldorf education. Would love to hear more about your schooling growing up in Sweden. Looking forward to enjoying more of your videos!
Thank you so much! :) I went to Montessori kindergarten and loved it, it was my happiest time in the schooling system until University! Unfortunately school was very difficult for me in between, but after meeting my Kiwi husband and learning about his school, mine was a lot easier :D
It's good to see another one of your videos, particularly like this one, Saga! I had finished my late lunch and was enjoying the rest of my homemade and brewed Swedish-Amerikanski coffee as I was watching this, good sister! (I never had any born living sibling sister - the one who was, was born dead and she was named Bernadette Schneweis before she was buried in the Catholic Cemetery in Odin, Kansas). The Holy Spirit of GOD reminded me as you were talking about your wonderful minimalist lifestyle about St. Francis of Assisi and his founded religious Order - you might say they were minimalist in their ways in order to more effectively spread the Gospel/reform the Church from within and help the poor! St. Francis of Assisi was also a preferring vegetarian! Another minimalist lifestyle religious Order is Missionarys of Charity Sisters founded by St. Mother Theresa of Calcutta! Amazing: this excellent woman was shorter than short me (yes, I'm short!) and about half my size, but she did thousands of times more good in this world than I hope to! Now they have local chapter Orders around the world helping the poor, the poorest of the poor, the sick, the terminally ill, the aged, the abused women, etc.! I'm glad that your husband is doing materially well and that you both get along well ! May GOD richly bless and protect you all and I look forward to seeing another one of your videos!
Thank you Paul! I've never heard of these religious examples of minimalism and vegetarianism. I'll let my husband know, he'll really enjoy looking into them ☺️
@@SagaJohanna 😍🤩 I don't speak Swedish. But I am watching several channels, hoping to learn some of it. That is why your channel came up on here. I thought it was my imagination, but it turns out there are several dialects! lol I thought it would be closer to German. Stay safe!
That was really good to answer questions and you are really fluent on camera. Sometime I would be interested in what music you like - Sweden provides some really good music for me. Well done for such a successful channel Saga.
Thank you so much Adrian! Oh yes, I don’t listen too much to music since it very easily affects my mood. I mainly listen to “bad” happy music these days 🤣
@@SagaJohanna Thanks Saga - I have just watched Emily Linge on RUclips who is part Norwegian I love her singing and instrument skills especially her recent song in Norwegian.
A belated congrats! I have a question about the modelling (playing the devils' advocate here): the pics will most probably used for the promotion of products, but you want people to cut back on consuming/buying stuff... I feel like I'm a party pooper now :-(
Haha that’s okay! I’m always the party pooper so I will always support other ones ❤️ I completely agree with you. Luckily I’ve been fortunate to do modeling mainly for services (wedding photographers), educational purposes and vintage clothes! The only modeling job I’ve done for a product was for a vegan NZ makeup brand, and although I don’t wear makeup, it’s a pretty good brand and I got paid. If I were to make a living off RUclips I would be much pickier and only do brands I myself used, so that’s of course my dream! At the same time I think representation is important, and my dream would be to do modeling jobs without makeup or shaving and look natural! Would love for you to reply, since it can be so difficult to express everything on here, but I very much don’t like when RUclipsrs stop replying the moment they get critiqued! But it’s not like I’m getting asked to do modeling jobs so for me it’s not a huge problem/priority. The fact that I’m not pushing any brands on my channel feels more important right now!
@@SagaJohanna Looking at those pics I'm sure that more modelling jobs will follow (to be honest: the first time I heard you speak about living in Paris, Japan and China I thought it was for modelling jobs...).
Did you get to watch The bridge a Swedish/danish series featuring a detective named saga who had Asperger’s,it would be interesting to know what you thought. I loved it.
Hello PLEASE TELL ME what is the custom of Swedish people in their homes, on the walls, they leave a framed section of un finished boards from the back wall on the wall? what does this symbolize ??? Takk
Saga I understand you have a healthy lifestyle by eating whole foods. So do I, but somehow I keep putting on weight. I eat whole pizzas, whole family bags of crisps, whole cream cakes and whole tubs of ice cream. Perhaps I need to watch your videos more closely! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
