Man I was probably standing pretty close to you when you filmed this 10 years ago... Thank you so much for capturing this forever. This was my favorite concert of my life. Toro y Moi as a band was playing so tight live, and super psychedelic back then.
ahhhh the sound is actually from an external recorder - the zoom h1. it's really small and inexpensive (especially for the reasonable quality). the sound could probably be a lot better if i did some post-processing in audition or something, but this is just straight from the zoom.
This was from a Canon EOS 550d. The video is the same as in the 7D, which they actually use to shoot a lot of TV shows now (House and SNL are two I can think of off the top of my head...).
is it weird to sing along to the song during a concert? cause when i went to see him live, i looked around the crowd and no one was singing along except for me and my friends.
