Good afternoon Mark, it's not bad for £160 though is it? I don't think it's intended to make blockbuster cinematic footage, rather it's a vlogging drone. I couldn't see the point of getting the fly more combo with the remote because I already have a DJI Air 2s which is really designed for making aerial drone videos. The Neo is designed for following you on your adventures I think. Matt
@@outdoorswithmatt if the could add a max speed it would help so much, I needed a simple push in to a subject and it was either fast or nothing - I know the Hoverair has a cinematic mode, so will probably do this.
I was looking at this, but got the DJI mini 4K instead. For me I think spending an extra £100 is worth it. However it all depends on the user. As the Mini 4K doesn't have this track feature to my knowledge.
Well it was a video about a little quadcopter that records your leisure activities so that you can share the experience with your friends. I'd be more concerned with the powers that be sending money to other counties instead of fixing pot holes in our roads. Also in English, we start a sentence with a capitol letter and finish it with a full stop. 😂

I bought that today, it should be here the second week in October. I bought it for its follow me feature. I purchased the DJ Air Sunday. I love DJI products.
@@outdoorswithmatt Amazon had them. I'm in the US. DJI website was sold out when I looked. I (briefly) had the chance to check out the DJI Air 3 yesterday. It will take a bit of getting comfortable with the controls since I have not used them in. a while; however, I have a lot of space on our property. We're on four acres; the adjoining property is wooded/river. I plan to return outside later today and try it out when it stops raining. I forgot to record the video when the drone was in the air. The only footage I have is up until it lifted off the ground. 😏🤭
When I heard this drone was coming out, I thought to myself, " I bet Matt gets this neo" Lol. Tempted to get it myself but as I don't get out much now, will I ever get to use it. Great video my friend, hope both you and your dad are well. ATB
Good afternoon Mr. P, I reckon it would be great to use on one of your bike rides as long as you kept the speed down to 15Mph. I tested it again yesterday in the woods this time, while walking and it goes exactly the same way as you do. So if you walk around a tree, it will fly around the tree. It never crashed once. @@SoloHiker Looking forward to watching your adventures with it mate. If you watch some of the RUclipsr's testing it out in the wind, it's not that bad. There was one crazy guy from England testing it out near a cliff in winds that I wouldn't fly my DJI Air 2s in and that can fly at 40Mph in Sport mode lol. It's a vlogging camera, that's why I got it and I'm sure with future firmware updates, the audio quality will get better. You can actually use it with an external Mic as well as a mobile phone to record audio but I haven't got an external Mic. I suppose you could record the audio separately on a device as well but then you would get the sound of the drone in the background. The app filters out the sound of the drone. It's really clever how it does it. I can't wait to test out the other modes as well. So far I've only tested follow and rocket modes because it pissed down at the end of this video before I could try the helix lol.
@@outdoorswithmatt thanks for the information, I have watched a number of videos on the neo but you can never really know if they are true reviews or people who get sent the drone by DJI, so give it a glowing review. I really just want the follow me and spotlight modes for my walks and cycling. Cheers again. 👍
From what I've seen so far, I think this drone is made with the follow me function for people that are doing running videos or cycling videos. Other than that, I think people are far better off with just a standard normal drone for that spectacular footage that can only come from a drone.

I've got the DJI Air 2S as well, DJI drones are fantastic.
