- 🇳🇵Nepalese hospitality is not super well-known around the world, but the truth is Nepalese people, while not the richest in terms of money, are rich in their smiles and their kindness towards others. They may live simple lives, but they treat their guests with incredible kindness. Nepal is one of the countries I have been to that has probably taught me the most throughout all my adventures. I hope this video shows you why, and I hope you enjoy Nepal as much as I do.
Also for my Nepal friends - my Nepali is getting MUCH better now! This was filmed over 2 weeks ago, and I'm really excited as I'm writing this for you to see how it has improved. Stay tuned!

Even without getting information that his friend would be coming home, within less time he still prepared and manged to feed him lunch but he was ashamed that there was not many varieties of food for his friend. That was really nice of him. This is Nepalese culture and hospitality. We want to feed best food to our guests and we feel sad/ ashamed when we don't get time to prepare food and so when we are not able to feed varieties of delicious foods for our guests, friends and family. Thank you for this wholesome video🙏💖
P.S: Mixing hot water and cold water and showing from bucket is not same in all homes. We do use direct shower heads for hot and cold water. But I think by this bucket method it preserves water and its good way to shower. Just my opinion.

Chris, I really enjoy your videos, it's interesting to watch you understand the base principles of life sometimes. Heat, water, food, shelter etc. I grew up in the 1980's in the UK and we still had 'strip washes' in front of the fire (in the living room) stood in a metal/plastic tub. Coal, Gas and Electricity cost money and back then we had high unemployment and 15% interest rates so life was tough. Coal to heat the house was expensive and someone had to deliver it to you. If the stove in the kitchen (coal fired) went out, we had no heat, no ability to cook and no hot water. My bedroom had a coal fire in in. People take for granted the ability to turn a tap or hit a button to get water and heat. Even going to the shop for some food. Great life lessons here...

He was a doctor and they had what was called a 'party line' telephone. Multiple people (parties) would share the line. It was courtesy to hang up the line if another person was using it.

Hindi and Nepali are all from Sanskrit..it’s not cousin brother. Like the Indonesian language it’s called the bhasa they have lots of words similar like Nepali and Hindi so does the Malaysia language Malaya it’s all from ancient Sanskrit scriptures
