At the start I was intimidated by the vowel marks and knew my target audience ( my grand children and people at my church) would be too, I decided we would try to pronounce without marks. That is why my terrible pronunciation sounds so odd. I have never seen the parallel marks you have in אלהים. I have always heard this pronounced Elohim but still do not see a vav to make the o sound. Do you have suggestions?
