      Thank you for your comments. At the start I was intimidated by the vowel marks and knew my target audience ( my grand children and people at my church) would be too, I decided we would try to pronounce without marks. That is why my terrible pronunciation sounds so odd. I have never seen the parallel marks you have in אלהים. I have always heard this pronounced Elohim but still do not see a vav to make the o sound. Do you have suggestions?

      Consonants:
      א - Silent letter
      ב -1. When there is a point in the middle (B) 2. When there is no point in the middle (V).
      ג - G
      ד - D
      ה - H (It is also possible as an addition to the Vowel)
      ו - W V (It may also come as an addition to the vowels O and U)
      ז -Z
      ח - H (CH)
      ט - T
      י - Y (It may also come as a supplement to Vowels I and EI)
      כ - 1. With a dot inside (K) 2. Without a dot inside (KH)
      ל - L
      מ - M
      נ - N
      ס - S
      ע - Silent letter
      פ - 1. With a dot inside (P) 2. Without a dot inside (PH/F)
      צ - TS
      ק - Q
      ר - R
      ש - 1. Right (sh) 2. Left (S)
      ת - TH/T
      Vowels
      Kamatz Usually (A) Sometimes (O). It will appear as a balanced bar under the letter and from it comes a small vertical bar.
      Patach - A A balanced bar will appear under the letter.
      Tzere - ei (sometimes also E) will appear as two balanced dots below the letter.
      Segol - E It looks like three dots below the letter - two up and one down.
      Hiriq - I will appear as a dot below the letter.
      Holam - O will appear as a dot to the left of the letter and above it.
      Kubutz and shuruk - U It will appear as three dots diagonally below the letter, or it will appear in addition "ו" to the left of the letter and one dot.
      There are many more rules, that's pretty much all you need to know to get started.

      The point on the right side above the ה on the left side of the ל in the word אלהים represents the vowel o.
