Today i explore an abandoned house lost in the mountains for decades, this abandoned house is the definition of a time capsule and has been left completely frozen in time for a decade in the mountains, This hidden gem of an abandoned house sits untouched in the english countryside with the beds still made, dinner table still set and vintage furniture dating back to over a hundred years. As this beautiful abandoned house is slowly decaying and being taken back by nature this could be the last chance to see how the family that once lived here lived. join me as i explore this abandoned house left completely frozen in time for nearly 60 years and see what remains inside.

The pan on the wall by the front door was a bed warmer. You'd put hot coals in it, and place it in the bed to warm it up before you got into bed.

It's not a disgrace @lisakelly5611 when homeowners work very hard all their working lives to pay mortgages so why should they give their homes away to someone who doesn't deserve it, even if they have abandoned it they are not going to give it away!! It's all about opportunities and some of us knowingly choose the wrong ones!!!
There will be family/beneficiaries and maybe there is a legal dispute or wills disputed possibly which would delay disposal and refurb perhaps. Someone was interestd enough to remove anything worth having.
I love these explores where the place hasn't been vandalized by jerks. This house could probably be saved with a new roof etc.

What absolutely floors me is how these homes are truly frozen in time and I get captivated by it!!! As much as I love the paranormal, the state of these homes, their locations & your accent (I’m American lol so yes I love your accent ☺️) is what keeps me watching. These homes would never exist in the US, there’s not enough respect for those people’s personal belongings. Which is something else that grabs me is all the personal effects of the home owners, you can almost create an image of them. I also love the respect you show these astounding properties ❤️🇺🇸

Insane how much the outside has changed in nine years, I bet it would have been lovely in its prime such a peaceful place to live. So sad to see all the lady’s belongings left behind unloved,I wonder why only the clothes were cleaned out and the rest of her belongings were left? You could tell that she loved baking with all the stuff left in the draw in the kitchen. The conservatory would have been a nice place just to sit and have a cuppa and chill. When ideally could be saved or sold on after someone had passed.
Could still be a lovely home for someone with not much needed to do to bring it back up to standard.
This place is just the best. The next time i go to our shed, I shall tell my hubby i am off to do shedly things.

This must have been a beautiful property in its time. It had nice, peaceful vibes and I got the sense that the lady was happy there, doing her baking (it was a well-stocked cook's kitchen), pottering in her greenhouses and tending her chickens, with her cat going on behind her. But it's so strange that it's been left to decay - there was a fridge magnet with a message along the lines of 'if mothers were flowers, I'd pick you', so she must have had a child who gave that to her. 🫤

She definitely liked to bake in that kitchen….reminds me of a proper grandma’s house.
The dish with holes in the top is a salad bowl so any water left on the lettuce leaves when you have washed them would drain through, could also be used for washed fruit too, like strawberries etc
My daughters toilet used to carry on flushing like this one, we had to flush it again so it would fully flush xx

The wallpaper in the kitchen was called contour, it was on a roll but at a glance it resembled tiles my mum had it in the kitchen as well, windmills cottages, haystacks etc Brilliant little time capsule Adam i loved it. 😊 💙 xxx

Love it. I'd love to redo this place and live there. I think that pan with the long handle on it was a bed warmer. One puts coals in it. And, passes it through the covers on the bed to warm it.

That one item hanging on the wall is a bed warmer, heat it up in the fireplace and then run it through the cold sheets before going to bed. The sound of the birds outside is lovely. This is a nice house, with good vibes. I could live here in a minute. Thanks for showing it to us.

On 17:13, you tried to open that door, there's a sliding button to the left of the knob. Slide the sliding button up and you can open the release on the door. That's like a
deadbolt door and it's amazing no vandals have trashed the house! I'm in agreement, it wouldn't take much to fix the place up and it's a shame so many places are

Wow this was so lovely, such a quaint place to live. I get the impression that after the owner passed away, her family came in and swept through it. Taking clothes, photos, TV, computers and keepsakes. You observed it wouldn't take much to put it back together. So why hasn't the family moved forward with the house? And I think there is a car under those brambles, it looks to have taken on the shape of a car. Great explore Adam, love the music!
18:18. The thing up on the wall, next to the barometer is a bed warmer. You place hot coals in it and when it's warm enough, you place it in your bed. I think it's Victorian.😊

the couple that lived in this house kept it immaculate. besides the few cobwebs, the place was exceptional. that bath actually shone, so did the sink, in spite of its colour. and the kitchen was kept pristine condition. The bowl that sat on top of the other dish is for Potpourri. you put it in the bottom dish and the smell comes out through the holes to scent a room. your right, there is def not much to do in this house to get it livable. New roof tiles and a paint job. what a great find Adam, and NO vandalism

My Grandparents in the 1970's had them, Also the box you said was a money box was an early 1900's money til that was once used in shops & on farms back in the day....😉

The flat roofs make the rooms cold we’ve got a couple on the back of ours and the rooms are freezing in winter, the thing hanging on the wall by the door was a bed warmer, nice to see a house that hasn’t been vandalised
