Working on the Ark code base is starting to look like a jenga match. Every new feature or change produces more bugs. Yikes. They need to get a handle on that.
On nitrado servers. The island and scorched earth still have big issue where the graphics dont load in properly. On The island its the whole ground minimap and rocks. Scorched earth its the invisible mountains and minimap, abberations its just the rocks

Still having texture issues on single player on all maps.
I do wish they would look into pathing *(they might be for all i know) on AB, but in general it seems like it got a bit more wonky on all maps after AB was released.
I think it also affects it when you try and get a creature to follow you. I noticed a big issue on the Center. They do this weird run back and forth like they are stuck on a boundary or a long rock
I saw a streamer get attacked by an invisible basilisk and rage quit, crazy bugs
They have that same bug on ASE still lol it’s horrible.
That happened to me literally the first time I logged in lmao what a clown fiesta
i remember that happening to tamed basilisks in pvp on ase that was rather terrifying
I’m glad they fixed the inventory crash on ps5. Dude I kid you not I was irritated as hells bells because of it. Thank god.
not sure if it was the same thing, but on PC clicking to move anything in inventory lagged the game badly. while using the hotkey (T) to move did not.

@@crazyjoe101 Every time I opened the inventory I would crash but come back and do it again and not crash but after like opening it the 2nd or 3rd time it would crash, no matter where I am on the map. Just now I was AFK and as soon as I look back at my screen the game crashed. I’m not sure what’s causing the game to crash since it wasn’t the inventory error this time. I wanna bet it’s my base since I have like over 10 tames but I’m not even sure myself.
I can confirm that the update for playstation this morning that was ment to fix the crash when opening inventory didn't fix anything its still happening it's happened twice to me today after installing the update, with every map release the bugs get worse they honestly need to hire devs that know what they're doing , this games an absolute shit show at the moment and it will get even worse with every map release, the whole company is a joke , we were told that we would get all maps by December this year then they changed the road map and it was the end of 2025 but now we're not going to get the last map until December 2026 and that's if they don't release any new maps to try and make even more money if they do it will be 2027 then
I Even feel like the game crashes more often
I had a little flickering before this update on Xbox Series X. Since this latest update the flickering has become unbearable especially when trying to build. So when they say they have fixed the flickering on Xbox, they have made it worse for me
Yea they fixed a few server crashes alright. Literally, a few. I'm still crashing on xbox. Yea they fixed it 😒. They also need to get rid of that pyromane. He does a one shot on our server.

If your on console, turn off vsync and see how much worse it is.
Yeah im on an s and i can't play official maps on unofficial. Considering playing 7 days or rust.
The 80% performance update is FSR Frame Generation. I think it's a joke, because the frames are fake. It will feel like 30 fps but the game will say 60 fps. It is out right now by default. I prefer to turn it off with console commands.

don't know if its happing on all platforms but on PS5 I'm getting DC for entering my inventory after about 1h or so and its reverting progress sometimes and the flickering is not fixed. on solos with house lights flickering in abb, spyglass crashing has been fixed but now it the inventory crashing when will I be able to play without getting a GD FUKN CRASH AND GETTING PUT BACK HOURS

I’m still crashing every 15-30 min when I open inventory or teleport on PS5. I keep hoping they’ll have that fixed everytime I see an update, but not yet.
I have been playing it. Waited till Scorch came out. Long time player and well the crashes etc is a issue. Visuals a issue. Everything is too big. But all said and done i miss a lot of the creatures from Evolved. Also the stats on the bred dinos are nearly at max So what ever they did to the breeding side of things has shot themselves in the foot. It took probably 6 or more years for Rexs to get to the melee and Health they are now. Only taken just over a year. This is without the use of incubator and maewing.
I have no issues with BTT coming after extinction as extinction is awesome map
I want to go to extinction for the mek and to fight king titan. Although i still don't have a carcha army yet

The inventory crash still exists on Xbox unfortunately I will say it is not as often as it was before but moving 2k meters away from where you loaded into the server from and open your inventory the crash still happens or if you use/interact with a teleport pad then open your inventory you will still crash
WE need more Raids and PvP that's what makes ARK fun Raiding people is so much fun
You said the they fix the light flickering but yet it's not on Xbox or is it just me and friend. Have a friend who went into a seizure because of it. Called B.S on that fix
I want them to bring back frame gen , because they literally made this game for the high end pc users and now you cant’t even play it properly on the best available hardware and thats why most of the reviews on steam are bad , and if they continue on the same path i’m going to make a negative review as well !
Has anyone seen any Abberant Baryonyx? I’m on ps5 single player and haven’t seen a single one. I’ve been playing awhile in blue zone water area clearing Dino’s and have even done a Dino wipe. I also have Dino finder which shows none are spawned.
They need to fix the graphics for console users this update has killed the game to be honest on singleplayer with no mods whatsoever i cannot even play the game lagging non stop the graphics are worse than ASE on a ps4 what the fuck did they do?

The only problem I have at the moment is fps on ps5. Also seems to be a issue when in my base. I think the problem has to do with lighting. Whether it is from the lights pets, bugs around the ark or lamps. I've crashed a fair few times due to fps drops. I know they enable frame gen but it comes and goes. Hopefully, when they upgrade to UE 5.4, this issue will be fixed.
I know i sound dumb but ill take it i have a serious question when ark servers are updated like for the crashes does this update nitrado servers as well is it all the same ??
I haven't really had much problems with any map a few crashes but nothing major since ascended was released

i run 11 servers and have no issues with crashes or graphic issues. but then again i dont use nitrado. so i cant say how there servers are.

Might check if they've fixed my loading crash when I get home, not incredibly high hopes tho
Surprise surprise nothing happened
The first Update fixed my game in Xbox! It was working extremly well with Full FPS and Dire Bears and Ankys where finally spawn on the Map!!! 🎉
Next day Update 870Mb...
No more Anky spawns, no more Dire Bear spawns. And surprise FPS is sh*t again. Thanks for nothing Wildcard. 😊

The fix that improves memory usage in the inventory and fixing crashes in the inventory will be exactly the same thing, high memory usage = crash :D
All I wish is I could play the game on my Xbox offline, with out hitting the 60hr mark and crashing causing an unrecoverable save. It’s happened 6 times since release. Still I have no save, and have to restart again. That’s flippin offline.
I never bought gen1 or gen2 so iv never seen the maps not even YT. It'll be fun to step into them both for the 1st time

They need to fix the issue when you’re trying to tame a creature and you find the right level that you wanna tame but when you start tame it it becomes level one
It's still the same level it's just a visual bug. Relogging will fix it. Just knock it out and re log
One issue that I'm finding annoying is on console my keybindings aren't saving... I have tab for open inventory because clicking I Is annoying... but any time ark ascended crashes or even if I just close it. It never saves my keybindings and forces me to redo it every time I open ark. Hope that one gets fixed soon.
Edit: not sure if this is an issue for different consoles or even different Xbox... but this is an issue for my Xbox series S and hasn't been solved even after many reinstalls
