You're not wrong lol. The Einhänder craft were pretty much suicide units meant to go behind enemy lines and cause as much havoc as possible before being taken out.
I love coercing my friends into playing this game, so I can laugh at them whenever they get to this part and get mauled by that surprise leap attack. Dying to this mid-boss is _Einhänder's_ rite of passage.
On like my 10th playthrough of this stage I relized that the voice that cuts in and changes the whole tone of the track at 1:05 is the "unautharized transmission" in question, it's like the song is trying to stop the transmission from coming through and telling you "You Are Excellent". The stellar sounding part at 2:37 is heavliy reminicent of the final boss track, which to me further implies it's meant to represent Hyperion encouraging you to complete your mission despite all odds or doubts.
KOF Soul of the Mark/Mark of the Soul brought here. For those of you who don't know, it's a flash animation based of the King of the Fighters series. Kyo Kusanagi is my favorite character by the way.
Lyrics Don't be afraid of firing your beam. Don't be afraid of firing your beam. Don't be afraid of firing your beam. My name is "don't worry about them" Excellent! Excellent! Don't be afraid of failure in your mission! Now keep an eye on the enemy's move. Trust your power, your luck, your spirit. You. Are. Excellent!
0:27 everytime I hear this, I can't stop thinking about that episode of People's Court where that one drag queen starts dancing in front of the judge 😂😂
Honestly the people who decides which games come out at square enix, needs to shove final fantasy up where the sun doesnt shine for them at least for 4 years, and release bangers like einhander and parasite eve trilogy
I can't really tell what the lyrics are, but I can hear "You are authorized", so I assume what's before the "You are authorized" part could be the main character's callsign, but I'm not sure Edit : I can also hear "Where am I ?" near the end Edit 2 : It says "Where am I ?" after the "You are authorized" part, which I assume is the chorus
THIS WHOLE GAME MADE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU WERE ENGAGED IN AN UNAUTHORIZED PROCEDURE, AND I LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT.

Fun fact: that vocal sample is taken from the film THX-1138.
foreal i made me a copy ps1mod
It is, the first half of the game is to raid Earth's capital city and pursue the supply train to the ammunition factory.
@@gjtrue huh, like parachuters in the military
man, if this is the kind of music I was jamming out to as a kid, no wonder I grew up to love EDM

LOVE HOW THE BEAT DROPS BACK INTO MACHINE BEAT AT THE END. THIS GAME IS A 10 OUT OF 10 MASTERPIECE
Fun Fact : The "You are engaged in an unauthorized procedure" voice clip is also used in the Pegboard Nerds song "Close Encounter"
It's a sample from the George Lucas movie THX-1138
The badlands! 😍

I recognize that "You are engaged in an authorized procedure" sample from Arkanoid DS. It plays in the track "shining eyes".
Hypest song on the Einhander OST. For a SHMUP that was made in 1997, this goes _insanely_ hard.
Badlands is the type of place we fight enemies

You. Are. Excellent!
The voice is totally Orbulon from Warioware.
Where does the "Don't be afraid to fire your beam" come from?
Woah.. how did you decipher it?
This theme sounds like it could've been in Tekken 3 lol.
This is Bryan Fury's unused theme.
This is too accurate. I say that as a Bryan main.@@GreenPhoenix91
Both had remarkable ost.

The audio bits at the start are saying "You are engaged in an unauthorized procedure".
It's a sample from a Zero G sample pack
