Well done again Karl ⭐️ Sat night with you and the footage-you just can’t beat it! Was due to go out myself but something came up so next weekend now. Keep em coming Karl love the vids mate Mark 🏴🤙
Cheers Nicholas, it's just a matter of time before they eventually make a mistake, just the big lad to trip up next but that is one crafty fox, hope you enjoyed the video. 👍🏻
95gn seems alot of bullet! I used to fire 90gn out of a 270..at 3600fps..but recoil got the best of me...I think.. Now. 75gn per 243. Fairly gentle on recoil. Fired a 100gn Winchester white tail...notably more recoil. I do like the more emphatic results from a heavier bullet and better BC and wind bucking but...not the recoil. Why did you choose 95gn sst? I'm stuck with wary elusive foxes currently....😢
A .270 is much more aggressive than a .243 for recoil. I get very little recoil and at the barrel the bullet travels just under 3000fps. For me the 95gr bullet is very accurate and as you said more steady in the wind, and it's nearly always windy up here as we are very high up. The round is very hard hitting and if there is any slight error it still does a quick job. Hope that helps and that you enjoyed the video.
@@mfloutdoors I'm trying to find the sweet spot for recoil, speed, weight ..BC..wind. it's been a surprise that a slower heavier bullet wth a higher BC at times does practically as well , trajectory wise, as a lighter faster bullet with lower BC. I've noted this with 40gn 204 vs 32 gn. And 243, 75gn VMAX vs 87gn VMAX... Which sorta brings me back full circle to 270gn 90gn...but...perhaps alot less recoil and 600 fps slower ..I guess.... Gets complicated chasing a free lunch!
As always Karl a great watch well done.
Cheers Stephen I appreciate it, glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
Enjoyed this one again Karl. And you got one of the beggars. 🙂
