  • A team of Caltech undergraduates (Cormac O'Neill, James Deacon, and Hyung Ju Suh) designed and manufactured a RC controlled strandbeest!
    The strandbeest uses two motors, a simple speed reducer, and the Jensen's linkage to implement walking.

    Very cool! It seems like it would be easier to control with a four channel radio like for an airplane or drone. You can do some pretty fancy mixing in those radios and could probably get more precise control, and skip the arduino all together
