County Mayo & O’Malley Clan Virtual Gathering 2020
Broadcast on Saturday 25th July 2020
This virtual event was broadcast from the home of Grace O’Malley on Clare Island and was led by the Chieftain’s of the O’Malley Clan. Over the course of an hour, we take you on a cultural, historical and musical journey to celebrate the contribution of the O’Malleys around the world, while also paying tribute to the life of pirate queen Grace O’Malley and the county of Mayo from which she hailed. We discuss plans to restore the renowned Grace O’Malley Castle on Clare island and the planned Atlantic Youth Trust Tallship to be named after Grace.
We look forward to hopefully seeing you all at next year’s Gathering in Mayo in 2021!

This started out really nice. Since when did the O'Malley Clan Association become a political group? It was a thinly veiled advancement of Biden's presidential campaign. I hope that our next Chieftain can be more sensitive and inclusive and remain neutral.
