Tbh she doesn’t not look 31 a single bit but her personality definitely gives 90s vibes
I hope I age as well as Alexa Demie when I'm in my 30s. Also, Euphoria isn't the first teen show to hire actors who are well into adulthood. As long as she can act well, that's fine by me.
Except heartstopper and Di4ri, I don't think I saw other Highschool teen drama where the students are played by actual teenagers . Not Glee, not elite, or sex education.
I think she pulled the role off perfectly!
As someone who was a teenager in the 90's where almost of our teen shows were cast with people in their late 20's and early 30's I'm not seeing the problem.
Also to that classmate that exposed her age "does it get boring, being that much of a hater?"
She’s perfect for the role!!!! And we love her. Bue
Reminds me of Dawsons Creek in the 90s and I think it’s great because the material is adult even though it’s about teenagers. Better to have someone with maturity play the role imho
i feel like shes one of those souls that will forever stay young and she’s just so pretty and youthful
The crazy part is that she still fits the character either way her age might be old but her face and heights is 17
We literally grew up with High School Musical and for some, Glee
Most of the characters looked a lot older than their roles lol
Look at all the characters from “Scary Movie” 😂
I don’t believe that anyone “noticed that she looked older to be playing a high schooler” lol I think that people found out her age because it was never a secret & went berserk. She honestly looks A exactly how most high schoolers now look. And B exactly like she did in high school herself 😂 it’s not anything new actually. I grew up in the 90s & all those movies & tv shows back then featured casts who were in their 20s-30s 😭
I honestly don’t care that she is older than her co-stars and I hope no one else is. No matter how old she gets she will still be out talents and confident queen Maddy Perez
She dominated this roll and looks much more like a high schooler than some other actors playing teenagers
She looks like a teenager that matured early in the show to me. I would’ve guessed her real age as 26 or so
Some people never grew up watching Grease and it shows. That movie had no right convincing us that those actors were teens.
she looks like a high school so don’t even say she looks “old” because she look gosh darn gorgeous
Bianca Lawson was playing teenagers on Pretty Little Liars and was almost 40
Myra from Family Matters was in her 30s too!
In the clueless movie one of the characters was I believe 33 playing a high school student Hollywood always does this they can't get anyone high school age to play a high schooler
She is the only one who can play Maddy😩🧡
I donnot believe, she looks so cuteeee and pretty. She is my the most favourite girl in EUPHORIA
Some 17 year olds sometimes even look older than 30 year olds
