Also, education loans are processed after you get an admission letter but when you go to these so called top notch colleges they always ask for a processing fee which can be to the tune of 40+K(which will be before you get your loan sanctioned) I was only wondering how could you pay 40+K and not pay an auto fare

No one in their right mind would use public transport on their first day in a new city when you have to reach a location by 8:30 AM and you don't have any knowledge of that city. It was my first time out of my hometown so I didn't want to risk it by searching for buses or any local trains coz I did not have clear Idea where to board and deboard. It was after my interview in the afternoon that I used the local train from Vile Parle. Also they did not ask for a processing fees at the time or else it would have been mentioned in my handout, my handout only mentioned to submit 5,50,000 during counseling" rest was to be paid afterwards" and I was just applying for that loan.

Nmims used to say please book your seat that is 6200 in which 5000 is refundable but in case you want refund they don't use to refund this easily infact I am trying this from last 3 days
if you go to any university .. or any collage , refund takes time , financial team has to take are of your refund application and the reason of it , simply joining and asking refund doesn't male sense , if your reason should be real , you'll get the refund , if still didn't get ? let me know

Hi, so I am a third year B. Pharm student in Mumbai. The main thing with NMIMS is that it is extremely expensive. Around 4 lakhs for just 1 year, which totals your course fees to 16 lakhs. In my opinion, spending so much for pharmacy is not worth it. If you want an equally amazing college, try BNCP, just opposite to NMIMS building. BNCP is well known for winning best college trophies 7-8 times in a row. Fees is 1.8 lakhs per year. I think NMIMS has 2 undergraduate Pharma courses. One of them is Pharma integrated with MBA. Needless to say, NMIMS gives excellent opportunities to students in Extracurricular aspect. They also have stellar placements. If you're interested in corporate part of Pharma, and you have money, take NMIMS. If you are more research oriented, try getting into ICT (Institute of Chemical Technology), BCP (Bombay College of Pharmacy), which are the 2 best pharmacy colleges in Mumbai. If you stay in Central line of Mumbai, a plethora of other colleges are there too. Coming to your question about eligibility, I think clear CET and apply.
