अलावे इसके, वैसे तो मुझे नहीं पता कि 1971के युध्द में और क्या क्या हुआ जो रेहान जी ने बताया।हाँ इनका बताया ही इतना दिलचस्प है कि पाकिस्तान की सेना,भारत के विरूध्द उसकी शरारतें ,उसका आत्मसमर्पण इन सब में मेरी दिलचस्पी बढ़ गयी।बेहद बढ़िया कार्यक्रम विषय वस्तु और प्रस्तुति दोनों के ही लिहाज से।बधाई हो रेहान भाई।
I cannot imagine what Pakistan barbarian would have done with Indian POW, in Kargil Lt. Saurabh Kalia and other jawans were tortured and mercilessly killed. The brutality was of severest nature, Pakistani gouged out his eyes, I believe India should have not respected Geneva convention at least for few Pakistani army personnel.
India took revenge after months by Killing 4 pakistan Soldier . One got beheaded & eyes were popped out . Tied to ropes and drogged across river bank in cross broder raid by Indian sf. Pakistan has actually complained in UN . Indian Military confirmed saying it was revenge for Saurabh Kalia kargil

My Grandfather was Honary Capt in Military police retd in 1980
After 1971 surrender he was Jco Ic of a POW camp he has many stories of 1971 war and those camps as per him they were given best food as well as there was facility of games like Volleyball and kabadi infact my father and chacha was kids those days and they use to play with pakistani prisoners

Many Pakistani soldiers who retired told me that indian army cooperation was very good with us ,,and indian GOVT provides all facilities even indian army have no blankets in coldest nights but they gave us very hot blankets,,,they said we were confused if we are like a friends why countries divided,,,that was the india real Bhart Mata,,,but these days things are different,,,,but hope one situations will be change

Entire credit for this decent treatment goes to Gen Sam Manekshaw. There was an incident during monsoons , when our own soldiers used to stay in tents but POWs were given total protection from rains
Manekshaw served with now Pakistani army soldiers under the British. As did many soldiers.

@@vanshbatra4043 It was a civil war in united Pakistan where it split into two. Their supply line was easily cut off by india being physically split in land. India took advantage of that. And india is 3 times the size of Pakistan.

I was in class 6 when my father received a call (Landline phones were given to very few officers by the Government back those days and my father was the only one out of his 8 siblings who had an official phone) from Pak Embassy in Nepal that your nephew has escaped from Indian camp and he will soon be flown to Pakistan.
