I think some people here don't understand something.
Btd 6 nor Btd 5 are better than eachother, these two games are just different.
Another thing to note is that in Btd 6 there is a much bigger focus on balance compared to the predocessor.
I think it's largely in par with the fact they started balancing towers more seriously in Btd Battles, as it was more competetive.
It's also worth noting how Btd 6 introduced Tier 5 towers, which can be incredibly powerful even thier own. That, with the inclusion of a 3rd upgrade path and new bloon types required a change of uproach indesigning the towers, leaning much into "Make a defense, that will last long enough so you can afford buying a powerhouse" instead off "Power in numbers".

For nostalgia purposes
BTD5 > Btd6
However in terms of strength and power
Btd6 > BTD5.
I like the style of BTD5, the 2D art looks better. I still prefer BMC over BTD5 since BMC is free, while BTD5 is $10 on steam. And weird this is that, btd6 was less money than BTD5 during sales.
Idk if Ninjakiwi just hates BTD5 in general or what. What’s even weirder is that BTD5 is still on the Steam homepage. Why would I pay $10 when I can play it on the Ninjakiwi archive for free.

the t4 top path mortar pops 7 layers in btd6 and 5 in btd5

Towers got insanely more stronger in btd6 even at their t4's

Also reason glue can't slow or effect moab but in btdb it can in it tier 3 upgrade and super wide funnel making game way to ez bec it suck zomg but not in btdb bloon impact suck flash suck as balls rng placement of engineers and much much more
