Mill Rogue is how I found this channel and every time I see it come back to this channel I am so happy.
With the recent addition of Arcanosmith from the "One Night in Karazhan" expansion, Savjz managed to take Mill Rogue out of the dumpster and into the top hundred (of the legend rankings). We will still fluctuate with other decks but I've got a few mill videos in store showing his journey and how he got there, this one being the first. ~Mike
Maybe you can change your twitch overlay a bit so we can see how many cards the opponent has left. Nevertheless love the mill decks. They are expensive so I will watch until I can build one myself

Im actually impressed by the skill it takes to play this kind of decks
When Mill Rogue was rare, the best feeling was facing control decks that draw a lot. They just constantly sit on 8 - 9 cards because you don't play minions, then you drop the Coldlights.
Pro Mill-tip: play Coldlight BEFORE you Vanish and get more Coldlight value.
And you forget about Reno again :)

I guess I'll try it out, I have been trying to build so many different mill decks because it's just fun to play, but I haven't had any success so far.
You should try a wild Druid deck with Dancing Swards, Deathlords, Sludge Bealchers and N'zoth it is a lot of fun and I have like a 40% winrate on it and I'm not even that good at HS

Why you don`t try to use the Nat, the Darkfisher?
Because you normally dont want to give them cards without it actually doing something like milling a card or 2, with the dark fisher its just giving them more ways to dump there hand most of the time

That combo sucks ass lol. You still have to draw all the renos to activate one of them. Gangup on coldlight is crucial in Mill Rogue.

Who do you deal with aggro decks like Zoo? The mill just isn't favoured against aggro decks
You dont, you pray every night to blizzard to nerf or remove these brainless decks
+MissionDelta or you can build a deck to counter them, like I did ( www.hearthpwn.com/decks/592053-might-of-the-unicorn-yogg-elise ). Nothing feels better than exhausting those aggro decks out of ressources :)

you just have to entomb the coldlight oracles man ;) Ofc mill sucks against aggro, I'm just sayin' that instead of complaining, you just have to adjust the deck to it. If enough people built anti-aggro decks, the meta wouldn't be so dominated by those, allowing more room for slower deck archetypes like mill

if you don't have coldlight before turn 5 you just lose and is probably the hardest deck in the game to play, it also loses to the more aggressive decks, especially zoo decks who's highest cost card is leeroy

Why arcanosmith ?
I try and play mill and lose to infinite Dragon Warriors in a row.
There are so many aggro decks now, hard to play mill =(
You could try Mill in Wild with 2x deathlord and healbots, less aggro there
Mill in Wild with Deathlord is still viable, not as it used to be but it works better against aggro than standard mill rogue.

Why not King Mukla?
King Mukla is only good for helping to burn cards (and only for one turn, since the bananas are so cheap). Burning cards is generally overrated by newbie millers. It can be important vs combo decks, sure. Freeze mage will simply kill you if you let them draw all their damage. But I have won a lot of matches vs control where I never burned a single card, and even more where I never burned anything until I had a brann coldlight shadowstep combo (at which point it really doesn't matter anymore, because you're ending the game that turn or the next turn). It's just completely unnecessary and pretty much every other card in savjz's list is performing a much more important function. Maybe if the meta becomes majority combo decks I would consider running it as tech against them, but that's it.

why not the new nat paggle
Its slow and not reliable. He tried him once because of huge donation of someone who asked for that but it wasn't very helpful card.
Nat pagle is not good enough. It's a 2/4 body that does pretty much nothing to the board to save your sorry arse. If you're very lucky you'll get it turn 2 and it will help slightly early game. If you're not lucky it will not help against the terrifying boards that mill has to react to later. Meanwhile the special effect, 50% chance of drawing your opponent a card, is a very slow way of advancing the "burst them down in fatigue" plan. It's at least as bad (if not worse) than dancing swords in mill.
Not good enough, needs more draw mechanics for consistency.

How to replace Thalnos?
Maybe Loot Hoader or Geomancer.

Shiv. Savjz has said the best replacement for Thalnos is Shiv. He's said it in his previous videos a few times.
