The life you've lived, the stories you must have you should write a book. It's your 401k. Believe me, people would love to read it and your wife would love having you home.
@@suriannamoore9306 what a shame. I wrote a comment before I knew he passed but maybe you could get stories from his wife. I just think it's a great book idea.
I'm so glad I came across this. I have been a private driver for coming on a couple years. It definitely isn't easy. Kudos to you for making balance with touring and being home with your family.
How do you become a private motorcoach driver? I've been driving motor coach for 6 months but have driven buses for 7 years. Also have truck driving experience. I have no connections and don't know how to get my foot in the door
Oh man I still love the road I've been driving for 30yrs, from Transit to Motorcoach. I wish I had the strength you had, I had fun though thi ki g about getting back in it
Hope you're finally enjoying more home time Arnie. Like you, I drove tour coach in mid-90's and wish I had written a book of the stories I could tell. I'm now driving a rig on tours instead of a coach and I enjoy it. Less 'babysitting'. But you're right, the road is your home 8-10 months a year. No business like show business.
you're the real star Arnie you rock!

Why don't you write a book?
The coach operator is captain of the ship...he must enforce discipline like a Captain Bligh, whippings and floggings if necessary
