- Enjoy 4 rounds of deep focus, for study or work with 25 minutes of no-music, gentle spring rain, wind and writing sounds from our desk (rain falling, wind blowing, writing and turning pages) followed by a 5 minute break with relaxing music and a closer view of the Golden Bells flowers dancing in the rain just outside your window (pomodoro technique).
POV: you sit at your desk with a view on Golden Bells' bushes dancing in the wind and rain. This April is cold and wet, but you're indoors working and studying.
While studying, you get views and sounds recorded from our office window. During this time, put away your phone and try to block any distractions. Just focus on your study/work during that time.
During the break, you'll hear some relaxing music playing while you get a closer look of the Golden Bells dancing in the rain just outside our window - spend the next 5 minutes doing whatever you want: time to get up, stretch your legs, open the window, make yourself a coffee or herbal tea, perhaps do some breathing exercises, stretching, check your phone or go outside.
If you follow along the entire video then you will have completed 100 minutes worth of productivity. Not bad!
By incorporating smaller breaks during larger chunks of intense work, the Pomodoro technique will help you focus and be productive no matter the type of work you need to do. We really hope this helps!
Did you know.... The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s.
Each interval is known as a Pomodoro, from the Italian word for 'tomato', after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer that Cirillo used as a university student.🍅
Basically you break your workload into doable 25-minute chunks separated by 5-minute breaks. This seems to be a perfect balance between focus and rest, so your mind can really concentrate on what needs to be done.
Then after four Pomodoros (the lenght of this video), you can take a longer break of around 30 minutes.
