My thoughts and experiences, when we are talking reformulation and performance.
In this video I am testing a 2019 batch, and a 2023 batch, to see if there are any differences.
sometimes you have heard that Companys
can simply use more water in their fragrances, than before in some cases.
Other times it is a matter of direct reformulation where the formula code itself has been changed.
This video implies just that.
In general also about there is some difference in the performance from one of the first batches to a newer batch.
Reformulation can change a fragrance noticeably, but in other cases it is just an ingredient that is replaced, with another similar ingredient that makes no noticeable difference.
The question here is, what Dior Sauvage Parfum is like when it was released, and if it is the same fragrance now, 5 years after it was released.
