  • Mister 80 goes to New York Comic Con! Check out the geeky walk-through. Plenty of comics, toys, collectibles, clothes, costumes, junk. Look for cameo appearances from Dread Pirate Roberts, Daniel-san, Johnny Lawrence, Sensei Kreese, Gus Fring, a few wrestling legends, Crazy Eyes, and of course... Mortal Kombat's Scorpion.

There were some awesome guests at that convention. Very Cool!

Yeah it was definitely awesome! They had other guests on different days but I could only make the one day! And that's fine with me, I spent enough money on just the one day, lol.

Thanks! Martin Kove was a nice soft spoken guy. Nothing like his mean villain characters. lol. Same for Billy Zabka.

    Awesome possum video, brother!
Great to see Kove, Macchio, and Zabka together. Too bad Morita passed away, and Shue couldn't be there.
Also good to see actual comics at a comic convention.
How were the prices? I imagine higher than usual.
I guess you didn'ty buy anything after that splurge of a few weeks ago?
Seems like a fund event, but too crowded for me. Here in L.A. there used to be this monthly (now every few months) "Comic book and sci-fi convention". Really small affair, but fun and good prices, with the occasional guest (Mark Hamill, Adrian Paul). More pure "nerd" than the big ones.

I've heard SDCC is much better than this one, but too far for me! This time I spent on meeting the karate kid actors and a few others so not much money left for toys/games, but I did get a few things. Haven't had a lot of time to do more videos lately, but I'll get to that at some point! Thanks for the comment!

I think I know a few of those nerds. In fact, I'm positive.

Well I’ll get straight to the point: do you think you are a good person? You might have thought about it before, or you might have not. But your answer is probably yes. Now the rest of this might get personal, but remember, I can’t see-or hear you reading this, so don’t worry. Now let’s have a look at the Ten Commandments. You don’t have to believe in the Bible to take this quiz:
Have you ever stolen something? Yes no
Have you ever looked with lust? Yes no
Have you ever used the Lord/Jesus/Christ/God’s Name as a swear word? Yes no
Have you ever told a lie? Yes no
You probably answered Yes to, at least, two of those. There are six more. A bit of math would tell you that (10 divided by 2 =5) , out of the Ten Commandments, on average you probably answered Yes to five of them. Do you still think you are a good person? Now I’m doing this because I care about you. You could die at any moment. Your heart may stop right now. And I’d like to see all of you in Heaven. I don’t want you to go to…to...to...to…what was it again? Was it perhaps hell? We have all sinned. Nobody is perfect or worthy in God’s sight. In fact, the only way our sins could be forgiven, was if we offered sacrifices practically every day. We all sin every day. We look with lust, we lie, we blaspheme, we swear and we steal without giving it a second thought. Imagine all those sin and guilt offerings we would have to offer… but we don’t have to. Because God sent His one and only Son Jesus, to die for us on the cross as THE sin offering so that whoever BELIEVES in Him will be forgiven and have eternal life. He took all the sins that will ever be on Himself. He paid the price; i.e. He’s the Person who paid the fine for the stack of offences on the Judges(God’s) desk, so He could let you go. That is how great His Love and Mercy for you is. He has no reason to spare you, apart from His abounding Love and Mercy. You just have to accept His forgiveness, repent, get baptised and turn to Him. You have been warned. Do not reject Him.
