I think it's more that it's not part of the standard gameplay loop so other than bragging rights, they don't want to give an extra incentive that makes farming the boss "mandatory" by giving it a special reward. That would kill the viability of a ton of builds and stifle a lot of the creativity around how to build your guns. It's there for people who want the challenge and are more or less done with the regular game stuff and it's probably also a good opportunity for the devs to collect benchmarks but other than that, I don't think it should come with an achievement or rewards.
I get what you're saying about not getting a resource and letting players keep their creativity with builds, totally agree that’s important! However I still feel like adding an achievement wouldn’t change that balance too much. For people who just want to enjoy the core gameplay, it’d be something they could totally ignore.
@theflashyturtle you'd think that but there's a funny psychological effect that we have all been conditioned for very well. If there's a reward, we are much more likely to run that hamster wheel just to get it, even at the detriment of ourselves and our fun. If the goal becomes killing El Fuego, then suddenly every build that doesn't do that seems "less" satisfying.
Turtle, I dont know if you have updated this but you can be more efficient by 1) Start at thornridge drop point and work right quickly All those slime nests will make you easily 20+ before first boss. 2) continue to bees, you will be there long before bertha. Kill bertha and move up and right and you should be all the way through the hive area on the edge of the green area well before first charger comes. Kill him and move into that meadow area for the second charger. Come back to the hive barrens, staying along the top section to get the root defense and pick up a magnet. Do the little event thingy (the crappy "kill enemies in the circle") but dont pick it up. Spawn el fuego and then go get the event reward for the 3 minute buff, pray its good. 2) Personally I dont feel you need two pineapple grenades....I run with the tesla coil in my weapon for the extra flat damage. 3) Also there is a common misinformaiton out there around tuning drops. The -filed magazine (or any others Im aware of) arent gated behind having tier 4 addon...its a level gate. Pretty sure the gate is at level 20. I absolutely have screenshots of having most of these tunings with a lvl 1 of the underlying mod
I didn't try to kill him since I've done it tbh 😂 I was farming resources and credit like crazy to finish everything Thanks for the tips I will apply the next time whenever I want to take him down
@@theflashyturtle yeah I get that. Ive only got a little drop pod work left so im just doing credit runs. my next "fun" run will be as much status duration as I can stack while I freeze, burn, blind, stun and confuse em! Should be fun! I killed Fuego twice, but its kinda pointless right now. Hopefully they will add a reason to farm him
Thanks, mate! I've tried a variety of builds, but the one-magazine build definitely has the upper hand. In fact, I believe it's currently the only setup that can beat El Fuego.
some things that may boost your dps even more. splitter mag top right (just for you, not your drone). you get a base damage when you pick up things. if both drone and you drop pineapples, it's amazing. you can spawn 2 bosses at once (so more boss trophies). transfer zones right after a boss spawns. it doesn't always work. i'm testing to see if which zone into which zone matters, and what time. or maybe it's random. congrats on the kill!
Oh, I hadn’t thought of that! Thanks for the tip, I’ll give it a try. With the juicy pineapples, it could be amazing :D. Now I just need to figure out what to drop to reach Tier 4 (as the chill magazine give that 1.5 dmg only from the third tier) Thanks !
the 2 bosses thing - works because the hive zones spawn the boss a few seconds after the meadow zone. Ive never been able to duplicate it going from barren to meadows, always been from meadows to barrens
Nice! My only suggestion is to maybe link to a resource that explicitly defines exactly what areas and times to be in to guarantee the double boss spawns. That's the one thing I'm having trouble with here, consistently getting the double boss spawns. That, and getting enough XP to get the correct augments in time seems pretty challenging.
Double boss spawn? I didn’t realize that was a thing! If you’re referring to getting the Charger twice, that’s actually possible without any glitch. The Charger spawns at minute 16 in the Bees area and again at minute 20 in the Forest area. By positioning yourself in the right area just before each spawn, you can secure two Charger trophies in a single run. At the end of the video, I’ve shown the path I used to gain enough experience for this build. Hope this helps, and thanks for your message.
I really need to work on that word! You're the second person to mention it xD. And thanks neighbor! I'm livinsg in Switzerland, but the frech side (in Lausanne).
No achievement means devs didnt expect us to kill it
No resources either, so you might be right about this ! 😆

@@robeldred7029 that's sounds interesting
I wanted to try a max size effect as well, it can be fun
Well done!!! I've gotten El Fuego to about 60% health, but couldn't keep up with his Rage - congratulations, great build!
Thanks, mate!

One of your subscribers is out there giving you praise over this kill. I decided I needed to come see for myself. 😮 ❤
Thank you both! I’m glad you enjoyed it !
It took me the whole weekend, but it was definitely worth it! 😄

Is this the first kill of this boss?
I don't think we can track this,it's the first on RUclips (haven't found any other videos so far),
but not everyone uploads their content to RUclips.
