    Very Smart Idea. I have been tying with Synthetic Multiple colored Quills. Grey, Yellow etc etc. They come in a Bunch of Colors and are VERY Durable!

      Thank you, I also do a few patterns with the synthetic quills.

    Barry that is fantastic! Easier than leaving some thread at the rear. Thanks! 👍

    That's absolutely brilliant. So simple but I bet money on it being deadly. Its just the old Yorkshire favourite partridge and yellow but with the quill effect I'm sure it will be even more deadly. I'm definitely going to have a bash at this one.

    How long will the colors put on the line last when used to fish -- this is beautiful and a real neat trick if it would last fishing it

      @Thefeatherbender  10 месяцев назад +1

      If you use good quality waterproof markers it should last as long as the fly!

    Superb spider Barry ,you are up there with the Davie Mcphails,MAK flys and Smaen to name but a few of the ones worth watching on Utube Vids for the sheer professional and neatness .You dont list the materials down or the way that you would present these beautiful flies ,ie would you fish this one as a point of dropper fly

    • @Thefeatherbender
      @Thefeatherbender  5 лет назад

      Hi Stuart, I would fish it across and down stream in classic spider fashion.
