I love the old 95 series Hotpoint as my nan used to have one - brings back nostalgia every time I see these videos with this machine in. Nice to see it still running great!
She’s back for her Christmas special Iam so excited to see Barbra again 😊hopefully she doesn’t go mental with this throw 😂 also a early merry Christmas mate from Bradley ❤
This machine actually overclocks the actual rpm. Interm spins should be 500 rpm but with no sudslock and perfect balanced load it goes to 550. Final spin reaches 1100 rpm. Extra illegal dry lol
That only tends to happen on the interms during a boilwash as the motor bearings expand and run more loosely due to the heat rising. But on a normal wash she'll hit 500 perfect on. The Final Spin however only overclocks 1000 because the final burst is run at full 240V mains voltage and unlike the PCB WM models, these do not have a regulator on the timer, so the motor will increase slightly and overshoot the max speed until the end of the cycle.
@@anvil_08 Haha, well unfortunately you'd need a 1200 motor and sadly they never made a 6 square-pin 1200 motor for these machines as 1200 wasn't introduced on the 95s until 1990 :(
Now that'll be The Christmas Special..🎉🎄🤶🎁⛄ Excellent.. Will really look forward to seeing this. Merry Christmas Brandon and thank you.. Paul and Jose ❤
Hi Barbara my favorite washing machine looks like Ur getting ready for Christmas time Ur probably gonna get excited on 1 spin and give people a little spook as IK U too well
How are you finding the performance of the Ariel? I can't help but be disappointed with its cleaning abilities since they introduced the fast dissolving formula, especially considering it's a 'premium' detergent
@@WishyWashyGuy haha yes! I think the SIX would probably clear the sudslock! Although idk considering her attempt with 3 blankets 🤯. Sadly though the WD64 will never be able to wash this as it’s too big to dry in her 😔
@ no the Miele probably would wimp out with the sudslock, although that machine likely won’t ever be seen on the channel again, especially as I never use the machine tbh because she’s not mine
@@AndyK.1 it would be but unfortunately that’s not my style of filming. My style is just focusing on the door/drum of the machine as that would mean needing 2 cameras and that’s not only impossible for me but far more difficult to edit with
@@WashLover yep and it’s difficult to get that view with where my machines are. Plus my rule of filming spins is they must be viewed at an angle, so a timer shot would be practically impossible in that position
I love doing washes in old machines around christmas time, it feels so nostalgic. Loved watching this machine again.
@@WashLover agreed! I suppose the nostalgia feeling of Christmas adds to that with vintage machines bringing back some kind of nostalgia too!

Me too! They're a classic machine and made very popular too. Such memories with them too growing up! She will be running for many more decades to come
Good work mate.
Is good to see Barbara again
@@MichaelRobertson-p5y it’s so great!

@@HooverA3060 if there is a way to modify the duration of the 240 V burst we can literally shoot this thing all the way up to 1200 rpm

That handled so well how would it handle in the hoover sixx I think it would be entertaining seeing it in the wd64

Ok would it fit in a3060 or is it too big
@ would be too big as I have a rule with the A3060 that she’s never allowed to be loaded more than 3/4 full
