He used to get used way more back in the day but then he fell into obscurity again as have most VS not named Miku, Gumi, Rin, Len or Flower. It doesn’t help that he is a male Vocaloid, which tend to be used way less compared to their female counterparts with Len being an exception.

I believe it to be former. I will say though, it sounds a bit like his sekai voice which I do like! But for some reason I imagined his voice being a bit lower in this cover, but as always, wonderful work! I was really bummed to see that there wasn't a version (or at least yet) for him in proseka.
YT's Autocaptions have nailed speech, so now it's learning how to pick up words in music. It's scarily getting there because it can now pick up words if the instrumental is simple.
