If not velcro and modified buttons, you could always use a snap button shirt. They even make some where the snaps are made to look like regular sewn on buttons.
Great review! I just ordered the Deep Conceal. I plan to use it in warm weather when I wear loose t-shirts or my favorite bowler shirts. For tucked in shirts, I MIGHT wear the Deep Conceal but most likely wear my ThunderWear. You can't tell that I'm carrying with ThunderWear and it's easier to draw.
I thought you were wearing one of my shirts from 5.11 Tactical. Great shirts-- they snap (might be called Western style 🤷♂️). Anyway, I highly recommend them. Thanks for a well done video.
Many thanks for info on the Samson hand guard, didn't want to cut off the tower on a stock component. Great work your end on the videos, knew we could rely on getting solid info. MK
I also hate IWB holsters. I feel like my belt no longer is able to hold my pants up with such holsters and feel like I'm wearing football pants (remember how the pads would attach by your belt?) I've resorted to man purses and fanny pack style systems. I've been trying to find a system that works with someone with a 66" jacket size.
I like the shoulder harness also. You get to carry your favorite gun rather than a micro I guess. If I was an operative I might try to fashion a slit in the shirt seam that sits over the gun that can be pushed/pulled to reveal the grip. I would soon get fed up with a chunk of metal inside the waist band. My jean button is only just managing to cope as it is. I like those leather shoulder harnesses though.
Good Video!! I often use another one very much the same. I have no idea what Co it is since the label is worn. I almost always ware western shirts so they snap shut. Easier to get to on the draw. I think it was originally a belly band style that just has the shoulder straps velcro on. Only issue is I live in Az and they get very warm in the summer.
Hmm...I didn't know that.... I do have solid colored shirts and the handgun is as equally concealed wearing those - but I could see how plaid would help....gonna have to buy more plaid shirts!
Good video examples and review. Thanks. I shared your video on Defensive Carry Forum and subbed you. I've been wondering about using a plain ole Belly Band - Large enough to wear high on torso like what your wearing and if needed maybe modify some plain ole suspenders to help hold it up. Anyone ever think about or do that?
Thank you Tom - I appreciate you watching, sharing and commenting. I have tried the belly band, even wearing up high - but it always was trying to slip down. So I would doing weird motions with my arms trying to keep it up where I wanted it. Ultimately these rigs I am showing are really nothing more than belly bands with shoulder straps. Again - thank you for the kind words, shares and comments.
Yep with western style shirts you already have the snaps in place. Whereas I would be ripping my shirt open and losing buttons and tearing the shirt - those wearing western shirts will have no such damage.
What are your thoughts on the T-Shirt Carry systems (undershirt with a sewn in holster)? Do either the Kanagroo Carry or the Deep Conceal give you bra lines on your overshirt?
Which holster have you tried? What firearm were you carrying? What didn't you like about it? Is there anything you did like about it? Your answers may be very helpful to other viewers. Thank you for watching and posting.
Please advise me of your face book name, also I have a question about your AR15 hand guard that appears at the beginning of a U-tube video about Deep Concealment, Mar.13, 2013. It appears to be a free float type, but you still retain the standard front sight. Is the hand guard a two piece drop in, or did you cut a forward slot so you can retain the sight assy.
Mike K - my facebook name is "ACPS LLC" - which is my training company. The handguard I used was a Samson Evolution 7 EX. It will fit a carbine length gas system with OEM front sight tower and still extend around the sides and bottom. Thank you for watching and for posting!
I have used it for jogging and with the arms moving back and forth a lot more than just walking it a little problematic. You need to keep your arms slightly extended away from your body or the arm will keep bumping the gun. Thank you for watching and posting.
So that's basically a shoulder holster that will get you killed because you can't get to it in time. You might as well just wear a shoulder holster underneath the shirt and not tuck it in. That is a horrible way to conceal carry in my opinion. If you can't reach your weapon fast enough to save your life there's no reason to carry it. Excuse me sir while I unbutton my shirt to save my life please don't shoot yet...😂
You are 100% correct IF you plan on unbuttoning your shirt......HOWEVER when I carry this way I just plan on RIPPING the shirt open. Which is about the same as opening a jacket, but this way I don't have to wear a jacket.
Apparently not listening. And apparently you have never, ever made a mistake - good for you. I make mistakes on a daily basis. If that bothers you I suggest you find a different channel to watch. If you can overlook simple mistakes (I pronounced the wrong artery - but that does not negate the fact that there is an artery there) then thank you for watching.
Brian Murphy lmao what were you doing in biology. Anatomy is the science and study of the human body. so get your facts straight before attempting to dig someone else
A western snap shirt is the perfect answer to this gentleman's concealment access issue. One can rip open the snaps rather quickly.
Thank you for watching and posting.
Thanks for taking the time and energy to share your experience and recommendations through this thorough video.
Thank you for watching and taking the time to post!
If not velcro and modified buttons, you could always use a snap button shirt.
They even make some where the snaps are made to look like regular sewn on buttons.
Also, using plaid, or some other type of print can make a big difference over just a plain solid colored outer shirt.

+Ernest “Solo45” Awesome! I still use mine regularly. Thank you for watching and posting.
Thanks for the realistic review.
GREAT video and review. Most reviews are only done with compacts, so I THANK YOU IMMENSELY for demonstrating with the full size M&P, also!
+Paul Gianni Thank you Paul! When people like you enjoy my videos it makes all the effort worth it. Thank you for watching and posting.

MK - thanks brother!
I've been looking at the "roto-rig" shoulder holster for my new Beretta 85......Not any more!!! That "Kangaroo" rig is the bomb!!
Glad to help! Thank you for watching and posting.
Thank you for reviewing and deminstrating these shoulder holsters 👍
You are welcome - thank you for watching and posting.

Would be nice if that could incorporate a thin kydex shell to retain the gun. That would eliminate the need for Velcro retaining strap.
JD Glock - good point! Thank you for watching and commenting.

That might be an option for any future purchases of shirts. Thanks!

I think a shoulder holster like this is best paired with a very small pocket pistol.
Like the Kangaroo Carry holster but if you are an active person it may start rotating around your body which can get bad for concealment and comfort.
Hmm...I didn't know that.... I do have solid colored shirts and the handgun is as equally concealed wearing those - but I could see how plaid would help....gonna have to buy more plaid shirts!
Thanks! I am kind of magic like that - the moving artery thing. Actually I can blame it on my thick Neanderthal former USMC skull! :)
Launder in cold water and mild soap and allow to air dry on a flat surface.
Thanks for the information

Like a "belly band" with straps.
Good analogy. Thank you for watching and posting.
Just ordered one
Right on! Thank you for watching and posting.

You would never be able to get into action in time with these rigs
These rigs were developed for the US Marshalls Air Service folks - the people that fly on airplanes armed. Thank you for watching and posting.
Great video, thanks.
That you for watching and posting!
What are your thoughts on the T-Shirt Carry systems (undershirt with a sewn in holster)? Do either the Kanagroo Carry or the Deep Conceal give you bra lines on your overshirt?
They don't give me bra lines.
I switched from the Kangaroo to a DeSantis IWB leather holster.
Question; what are the laundering directions for the two holster systems? It gets sweaty down south in the summer.
The holster

Proper Brand Name and address for both holsters
Thanks
Added to the description - thank you for asking!
nice, I like it,

Had anyone tried using this holster type for jogging
I have used it for jogging and with the arms moving back and forth a lot more than just walking it a little problematic. You need to keep your arms slightly extended away from your body or the arm will keep bumping the gun. Thank you for watching and posting.
thank you for your quick responds how about when jogging does the gun bounce or feels like its bouncing in any way
I do know people that wear a "belly band" concealed while jogging - it is a viable option.
Its called manzier
Haha thats a good one! Thank you for watching and posting.
thought that first one was a manzier
CitizenKane380 - haha - manzier - I like it!! Thank you for watching and posting.
Why do most snap shirts have to be western. No offense to cowboys, but I'm not one and don't want to dress like one. Good review!
MinYa O'Bizniz - good question! Thank you for the kind words, for watching and for posting.
Really , if you think you are going to draw your gun to kill another man 😮your worried about flagging yourself. Get real
You are welcome to flag yourself at any time - I prefer to train not to.

@@tireiron well that's just ruining a good shirt....lol
@@mikedagostino6318 I'm sure you will agree ruining a good shirt beats getting shot though!
there is not a femoral artery in your arm. what were you doing in biology.
