The food @ 7:06 looks fabulous. But I must confess, after watching this vid I can't remember a thing about Sheffield, as that fabulous child stole every scene. So I couldn't see anything else, ha!

And we're not FROM Chicago, so we don't have the patented Chicago accent.
The Peternoster in the Arts Centre is so called because it is named after the Catholic prayer beads, which are a necklace which people sometimes hold as they pray. Paternoster is latin for Our Father (the start of the Lord's prayer). The paternoster lift resembles a the prayer necklace.

Yeah, the Peak District... And what about the rest of Sheffield? The Cathedral, theatres including Crucible Theatre where World Snooker Championships take place (also the largest theatre area outside London), Peace Gardens, Botanical Gardens, Winter Gardens, Ponds Forge, Trams & Tramtrains running round the city and to & from Meadowhall and Parkgate shopping centres... Oh, and for adults there's Glory Hole - adults only Crazy Golf if you want summat else fun to do! 😂

yay! so glad, we love sheffield, theres a great culture here, depending on what you budget and what you like I think nether edge, ecclesall road and abbydale road area to be the most cultured and vibrant - but i imagine opinions may differ loads on ;-)

@@TheBackpackingFamily 2 years in Bangkok and 6 years in Phuket. There are no two ways about it - moving to the UK it's a massive change - in my case, from an western expat into an eastern immigrant (I'm Polish)... But we sort of learned to enjoy change over they years :)
I'll make sure to pop in here again when I have any questions about the Steel City! :)

I lived off Ecclesall Road as a student in the mid 80's, loved it and miss it still. It's probably much better now

sheff is dead now compeared to what it used to be like plenty for kids to do plenty of nite life for us council killed off the lidos boating lakes ect and they were free
thats really sad :(
Do not buy a house in this city you will be given no rights! council tenants will have more rights than you & the value of your property will diminish immediately
so sad, just as well we've moved out to Asia now lol
Lol I paid £85,000 for my house in 2012 just had it valued at £155,00 that's made me £7000 a year for ten years thanks 🤣🤣🤣
