Me and a friend lost to a Colony and an Arbiter turtling. We had the entire map and they only had two bases each.
They kept killing all our pushes and eventually pushed all the way to our base and destroyed us.
We wasted 2 hours trying, and I wasn't even mad, moreso impressed.

its a good video but you didn't mention the best turtle in my opinion. Sentry and Pavium combined with decimus. Pavium takes both expos. makes one a supply/power base uses the other as a mega turret base. Pavuim builds reavers and banshees with some engineers and a shroud or two. Decimus goes full air and if possible holds the 3rd base. That turtle is almost unbreakable. Only ever lost to a double atriox 5 scarab and engineer push that couldnt stop because of double bulwarks and unbreakable and dying breath.

Easy pick Pavium and put a mega turret it each base slot

I play colony and pavium and do this and after each attack I launch a counter attack at the nearest base and take it to protect it instead until I spread over the entire map like a plague (colony and pavium because their buildings can heal themselves so even if they get through the shield the buildings rebuild after the fight)

Are Kodiaks viable outside of turtling, or would you not bother unless you're going for the long game?

I usually only mix them in if I'm Forge or if I'm turtling. They often don't listen to your commands when locking down and are easy targets given the game favors air spam late game. But I still find them brimful!

@@TeamRespawn I almost exclusively play Cutter, so I was thinking of using them to protect myself from mass vehicles near my base in the mid game and then counter rush with my infantry/kodiak artillery on their base

So I noticed having the siege turret on the lead left actually gives it better range. I found 1 siege 2 turrets and 1 watch works Imho.
