agree 100% with everything youve said in this vid i was struggling in 2000-2300 elo range for long time mostly because of my mentality i swear my aim is almost the same, maybe only a bit better, but after i stopped tilting and blaming everyone for losing my games, my games immidiately started feeling better- went from 2200 ---> 2800 elo basically in just 2 months (
@@branislavmlynka5357 I will make a full video dedicated to aim training soon, including practices, the mouse itself and all together bullshitery that goes with it. I hope it will help
Thank you! Many of the tips is something you know, but when you put it into perspective, I can see myself making many mistakes that I easily can avoid. Quality content!
I recently solo queued to level 10, and most of the tips is exactly what I had self taught myself in order to get there. But im still under 300 games so I have alot to learn haha, thanks for the video it provides great insight
That's good to hear, the same tips can still be used all the way up to the highest level of the game. CS is the most challenging game which needs both mechanical and mental aspect in order to be good. Learn from mistakes and I promise you can get to 3000 elo faster than you think
great video, the problem is some people don't have patience or just think they're always better than everyone and end up doing things they know are dumb like peeking in a 3v1 because they think they'll win, but still if you're good you'll improve and gain elo even if sometimes teammates are bad.
I played a faceit game on D2 yesterday where we lost 13-10 I think. As always I play B on the CT side every game. In that game the other team executed only A site in all T rounds they played (1st half), they got like 8-4 in it. My other 4 temmates were playing MID and A site, all of them doing either 3A site 1 mid or 4A site 0 MID. Despite all of this they were losing roumds in a way that I didn't understand. Of course as long as they tell me info I go straight to help. Most of rounds I went from Tunnel to mid but like 90% of rounds they die and leave me 1vX. I won them like 2 or 3 important clutches by doing what I said but that wasn't enough. As long as they see me alone again 1vX, they yell at me. When they couldn't hold a Site they insult and yell at me cuz I stay alone (not like blameF situation). Also when they peek MID with AWP and scout, they lost most of the duels there (LOL), while me, the B player, of course every round I need to cross but you know what? I died 0 times when crossing and my temmates died. (ofc I took a bit high damage when crossing but luckily didn't die). As you said we need to know basic utility, and yeah I know some basic and enough utility, and I tried to help my team as much as I can but that wasn't enough cuz they were playing randomly and bad I could say, me alone not enough to win them the game. Just like you said in the video... I'm a support player, I learn a lot of utility lineups and started to play as a leader with the knowledge I have in most maps. When I check the stats I find that I use utility the most, and that really helps my team in most cases. All of that and I'm just faceit lvl1 :))) Aim doesn't really matter 100% imo, good communication and brain and dedication and focusing is what will help every player to get improved at the game. I dream to be a pro player in this game. I'm working on it with the support of no one. edit: lol I now see myself more of a filler player like you said. I play A Anubis, A ancient, B mirage, B Nuke, B Dust 2 and A inferno... the bomb sites that most of people avoid the most. I'm really doing fine at holding them despite I play alone most of times. (SoloQ tho)
I would tell you to play spawns and not have dedicated positions on d2, but then you said its lvl1. If you're in low elo hell, then you can win games only relying on your mechanics and nothing else. There is no team play there thats why this video was about 2000 elo to 3000, I can make a low elo hell video now that i think about it
@sewzu Yeah I play spawns, but since temmates leave the bombsite empty, I go and hold it. Thank you for the video despite it isn't exactly for me, I learned from it tho. Hope you do one for low elo :)
I would like to add that deathmatch is extremely useful, with one _huge_ caveat. 90% of players play deathmatch for KDR and waste time. Even if they say they don't. They avoid as many duels as possible and go for the easiest possible frags, instead of actually practicing their mechanics with intention. This is the equivilent of strength training by lifting 5KG weights because they're easy. So most people on the deathmatch server are just wasting time. It's a powerful oppotunity to train yourself against resistance if you actually want to though. My advice with deathmatch is to go in, move around and go for 1-taps only no matter what, taking every possible fight. Focus intensely on your mechanics and try to build the most optimal habits. Your KDR is absolutely meaningless. Watch some videos of Niko and observe how he plays deathmatch to get the most out of it.
if you consider yourself to be not toxic player - please don't tell anyone when to pick and when not. Basically it is misleading at best and teaches all the wrong lessons. I've lost as many clutches of hyper-aggressive plays as I did of 'hide and seek' plays and can't hear it no more after 6k hours. Better way be to coordinate such clutches would be by offering a flash or tell them let's pick on 1..2..3 or just sum up the total health situation.
bro no way you had 21k hours 2 years ago and you were 2k elo... maybe you just had the caliber of 3k elo but didn't play faceit? those tips are legit but honestly quite general at all, it won't get people that fast to make it from 2k to 3k.
if you saw maybe the thumbnail of one of my videos that says 21k hours, thats not just cs its other games too. But in csgo i did have 10k and yeah i probably couldve went far with elo if i played solo que and not with friends, but i never took the competitive side of it too seriously. And i agree that these are not the ONLY tips you need this just includes 10 of many, thats why i decided to talk more about things that people dont talk about on youtube
