Thanks for sharing all these Quo clips on the channel. I presume these are all outtakes from the 'Hello Quo' movie? They're brilliant - I'm enjoying working my way through everything. Great work.
Correct, much of the content was unused of course otherwise the edit would have been 60 hours long... they are all the interviews that were stored on one of our video servers. A lot of our content has been taken over by another company but none of the Quo interviews were included, this back up drive was next to be wiped to make way for another project we are working on so would have been wiped for good but I spotted it and put it to one side. Glad you are enjoying it.
@@Nyquest Wow! Thank goodness you were able to save it - this is a real treasure trove for Quo fans: there's so much good stuff here. Amazing to hear how this all nearly got junked. Great work again, and all the more remarkable to think this all might have so easily been lost forever. Nice work again!
...such a shame living on the island of Jersey for months as a tax dodge backfired and didn't bring happiness. It's a wonderful English Channel island (not USA!) and could of held so much life enhancing opportunity - it's our paradise. But then if you're not with loved ones, and have rocked all over the world, and are number one, it's all different. RiP Rick.
He royally ripped the band off. Ditched them in '87 / '88 and then David Walker was brought on board to help the band recoup the money. I can only assume the band never saw a single penny from merchandise whilst Cruxie was a member of the team, as he owned "Bravado Merch Ltd"
@@richardlloyd166 Correct and id i tar them both with the same brush in that respect to be honest. Only Coghlan and Lancaster were true rockers, they loved the music as much as the money
Andy was an incredible big part of Quo, but you never hear or see much of him
❤❤

Without Andy whatever you want would not have existed.

Living on an island used to contain the line Cruxys gonna be there' soon. They charged that line later for obvious reasons
Sorry to be that guy, but what's the reason (I don't get it)?
Alan Crux was co manager who would arrive with certain substances, he disappeared quite quickly from his Quo family
According to Quo's autobiography, the hotel in question was the St. Brelade's Bay Hotel, Jersey.

Sei un grande 👑.....
I liked your house in Fulbrook, Oxon, what you used to live in - a converted barn

What question did you ask that he was so evasive about answering in full?...it cant be heard on the clip
I heard it fine...he asked why did Quo seem to get into Colombian Marching Powder a lot later than other bands
‘Cruxie gonna be there soon’.
Quo obviously had a falling out with Alan Crux because Rick wouldn’t sing his name in the 2000s. Did he rip them off?

I didn't understand any of that.
id be so proud i wasnt involved with "Living on an Island" and the rest of Quos downward slide
As with Stairway to ...Hell... Zeppelin should have cheered when someone claimed it was plagiarised
Great song - Quo did some great ballads and Island was one of them
@@richardlloyd166 😂😂😂 yeah right. Thats nothing like the real Quo stuff. Thats just pop mush. Francis Rossi messed them up big time
@@tonydean2541Except Parfitt wrote it 🤣🤣🤣
