Thought came to mind about the rewrite When the SM64 community did the full rewrite for SM64, they found ways to port it to other programs and tools such as Gmod, Blender, even Minecraft somehow. Will the same be potentially possible once the full rewrite is complete? It could be a great help with custom map making in the future.
The boxes and finish line shouldn't be mirrored, just the track. It would also be nice if the tracks could be run backwards. Being that you did mirror, you also do reverse and also reverse + mirror.
reverse is tricky because there are tracks that is currently impossible, because of gaps/jumps. It's gonna need a totally custom-made tracks which is not the easiest to make right now.

actually if they are doing it inspired by nitro-fueled, then boxes and finish line are mirrored and they are doing it the correct way

Possible on the future to edit the textures n order to flip all the texture that have text? (for example the CTR start line banner)
That's supposed to be backwards. Nitro Fueled does that too

We know, with a PC port we'll be able to have any combination of mods, potentially every mod ever written at the same time
