A lot of people don't know what a monopoly truly is.
They think it is when you control a large chunk of the market, but that's not really what a monopoly is.
Monopoly is when you can keep others from entering a market. Where there is no free entry into a market, that's when a monopoly can be said to be achieved.
Dangote refinery is not a monopoly because there are other refineries in Nigeria, and Dangote doesn't have the power to stop anyone from starting their own refineries. So, even if all the fuel we consume in Nigeria is bought from him, it doesn't mean he is a monopoly because another player can simply enter the market and sell at whatever price they have and destroy his dominance.

I have a theory that this is PBAT personally fighting Alhaji Dangote because he wasn't involved in any process of setting up the refinery and probably won't get a cut from it, so this is his way of frustrating Dangote to forfeit this investment so he can benefit from it... Its just my theory sha given that PBAT always claims he built Lagos state and now Dangote's refinery is about to become the biggest and most lucrative company in Lagos state without him being at the forefront to benefit from it

    • @annefranciselizabeth3840
      @annefranciselizabeth3840 2 месяца назад

If Nigerians had voted for Asinwin (alias glitch President), it would be right for them to be allowed to suffer from that criminal's misgovernance. The sad thing is that Nigerians everywhere rejected Thiefnubu, but INEC simply falsified the results.
INEC Arithmetic 001 is not the arithmetic we all studied in school. Having seen that PO/LP won a landslide victory, what Madmood did was deliberately "permit" BAT to lose in the NINE STATES where BAT/APC have an obvious advantage:
1/ Asinwin's own State of origin - Osun.
2/ Asinwin's State of criminal capture and residence - Lagos.
3/ The State of the APC party Chairman - Nasarawa.
4/ The State of the DG of Thiefnubu campaign - Plateau
5/ The State of the sitting President's origin - Katsina.
6/ The State of the sitting President's domicile - FCT.
7/ The State of Thiefnubu's wife (maternal) - Delta
8/ The State of Thiefnubu's pretended main henchman (Ganduje) - Kano.
9/ The State of Thiefnubu's pretended No. 2 henchman (El Rufai) - Kaduna.
No logic on earth can explain how APC would lose Katsina and then win Rivers, Taraba, Benue, Kogi, etc !!!! As a way to hoodwink people, INEC first "conceded" those States where it would have made sense for Thiefnubu to win (but which Tinubu actually lost). INEC then haphazardly awarded votes to the Asinwin from all over the nation (core North, SS, SE & MB), just enough for BAT to "defeat" PO. That explains why INEC allowed BIVAS to work to upload HoR and Senatorial elections, but the same BIVAS did not work for the Presidential upload. That failure enabled INEC to allocate votes to BAT without rhyme or reason. Voters all over the country know that INEC did not use the true results. An analysis of polling booths near military installations including Aso Rock (where rigging/voter suppression was difficult) shows that Obi won in over 90% of them in North and South. But irrespective of his so-called "victory" Asinwin Thiefnubu remains a lamb being taken to the slaughter by the criminal cabal.

Sani Abacha stole and kept $300M of our money at a bank in New Jersey, U.S. This bank did not disclose the Abacha's loot for more than 15years after Abacha died, they used the money to enrich the bank by giving out more loans to Americans while they collected interest. By estimation, that bank made almost $1b from the $300M.

"Na statistic we go chop" - Emilokan Tinubu. Fellow Nigerians, the first reason why we are a sinking ship is because of the lack of Statistics in our everyday lives. We are a mono economy right???? Then what happened to the decline of Oil Production? Who or what is responsible for the decline???
How can we diversify our economy when the Herders-farmers crisis is preventing farmers from going to the farms? What is the other causes of the rise in Food inflation? Oil theft, who are we paying subsidy to? Which Foreign refineries buys our crude? who owns them????
Statistic is very important. We need to keep records and improve on them.
    Imagine this: 2014 Minimum wage ; 18 000Naira= 117 dollars, 2024 Minimum wage 70 000 Naira = 45 dollars. Hahaha... Nigeria has been scamed.

Its not about frustrating him! Our crude oil has been used as collateral for paying loans by a number of the previous governments!
As a result even though we produce over 1 million barrel, over 60% of that goes towards paying loans, in free oil to the creditors!
So what is left is not much that can go around bcos the country also need to generate forex!
If we break any of these contracts, we will be dragged to international court, our foreign assets will be frozen and we will pay more in penalties!
This was an oversight on the part of Dangote, bcos its his raw materials and i dont think they did their research well enough in this area!
Let the nation KNOW about this contracts and honestly people will be so mad and go after every previous government official who has anything to do with our oil
