- I don't have much mods uploaded on my channel but I am starting to work on Dyansty Warriors 5 as well. If P2 was Diao Chan, they'll also defect. I made a script to trigger the event even if the player was Lu Bu and if you approach Diao Chan. I don't have to mention that this is a mod.

The fact that you had to point it out is just stupid. You can still say he was a part of "Dong Zhuo's forces" though since he just betrayed him and killed him later.
ShadowRunner 2730 wait so when i betray someone i still count as part of their forces? Don’t you need to add something like Rebels of Dong zhuo’s forces? And in the video, Diao chan said that they had no choice but to join the coalition so shouldn’t the coalition’s forces be victorious?
Okay so first of all... you shouldn't like your own comments because it's annoying. As for the forces thing, AI characters aren't supposed to see these victory textures. My mod changes my character into an enemy. It does not touch anything else because it's not supposed to. The guy who made that comment up there did it because he thought it was funny (which I personally don't find funny at all). But then that was a while ago, my knowledge of the game is far better now and I can do things like change the name of the forces when a battle is completed. Actually my latest Enemy Side Mod makes it so that if you win, it says "Dong Zhuo's Forces Defeated" and your character will do their Victory pose and the song will be the one for the victory. You know, when a person doesn't know jack about modding... it's easier for them to say "this and that" but what can I say.
ShadowRunner 2730 I get what you mean, but putting aside the victory thing, you are like the only good mod creator for dynasty warriors 5, and I do like your mods.

Yes, in order to save his forces, Lu Bu killed Dong Zhuo so it makes more sense that way.

It's been long since I played this but is that really a thing? If I play as Dong Zhuo in the Hu Lao Gate mission?
is there a way to trigger this cutscene or the defection without the use of mods?
You can't trigger this cutscene if you are playing as Lu Bu or Diao Chan.

@@laurentiusmcmxcv Play the stage normally as Dong Zhuo. Shortly after Yan Liang and Wen Chou appear, Lu Bu and Diao Chan should defect.

The star difficulty in very hard(3), expert(4) and chaos(5) is bs, can you mod the ps2 iso of dw5 so that whenever we play on Chaos, all stages are 5-starred on "difficulty"? The fandom would really appreciate

You have to keep in mind that this was made through a mod as only the AI version of Lu Bu is allowed to activate this event.

It's not cut from the game. If you don't pick Lu Bu or Diao Chan and things happen like you lose morale and all that; they'll defect eventually. I don't remember the exact requirements but maybe other officers should be dead too.

I guess its dw 5 because Xtreme legends does not have the stage "battle of hu lao gate"
It does have it. Most of my videos here are Xtreme Legends remixed with vanilla.

Or by default the xtreme legends got the stages as well?
I always thought that was just to bring officer stats and items to extreme legends.
