@@julesstachura6826 I’ve always loved the end zone view. Imo watching football that way has always made the most sense. Being able to see how the def is set up. See what windows the QB sees and rush lanes the RB sees is way better than watching LOS and the QB throwing the ball off screen. From the end zone view ya can see live if the QB made a good read or not, or if the WR was schemed open. Everything about it is so much better imo. I wish ya could have the option to watch from that angle. I know me and a lot of ppl would.
I love the skycam now i could see how players get open. Where the blown coverage are and what the qB see when in zone and man. I dont like it much when the plays start and they zoom in the qb cuz i cant see the plays develop much
standley I disagree with you. I think the skycam needs to be shown on every snap. Love seeing the plays developed.
Dale Coolbaugh were both on the same page when i said zoom in on the qb i meant from sideline cam perspective on how they cut off basically half the field which focus mostly on slants and run then pan out when the qb throw the ball deep. I want to see how the receivers get open.

Charles Dowdell Exactly. Once I feel like the ball is thrown, I'd want the camera to change to the sideline one. It might seem weird at first but it could work.
I love the "madden" view i love watching the plays develope

@@J.C.3 Hey. In my opinion, this is a much better angle because in the perpendicular you see mostly the line and the quarterback. The offensive and defensive skill positions are very skilled as well and most of the time they are only seen after a ball gets thrown in their direction. The quick shifts in a route by a WR or the adjustments made by the LB mid-play which lead to the eventful highlights are often missed in the current angle.

They need to slowly implement this into the broadcast maybe Thursday night football only. This is way too cool

I like it because I like being there in the huddle and close to the QB and seeing everything from his angle that he could be seeing. Also watching the play unfold from the QB's angle I think is fun to watch. I like being out there with the players rather than being on the sideline

Colonel Sanders I love this new angle. You can actually see the plays develop and the skill of the QB and receivers.
Water they can use it for replays but the depth is horrible. Can barely see numbers or yards gained
Colonel Sanders It’s a nice change. I think they should have it every once in a while but I can see what your saying.
Colonel Sanders why is that important? The commentator usually says the name of the person who caught it and at what yard they were brought down
One thing I always enjoyed about streaming games is that sometimes you get to pick other camera angles, and the "behind the QB" view was generally one of them. It's just a better way to see the play unfold.
My favorite way though is to record multiple views. That way the first time you can quickly observe what the teams are trying to accomplish, then watch the right camera angle (usually the SkyCam or something like it) to watch the play developing now that you know what each player is doing and why.
I could do without the Zooming in and out but this camera angle is 100* better
Don't want SKYCAM all the time but once in a while would not be bad.

Mabye on the national broadcast night game? SNF, TNF and mabye MNF? or just one of the three. Def would tune in just for the camera lol

I like watching the backboard footage for the NBA. So I was glad to see the NFL do the sky cam, the sideline cam.. You just don't see much of anything. I like watching the defensive secondary actually play defense past 10 yards.
The skycam makes everything look more real u can see the holes that the rb run through

I really think this view should be used all the time, it's nice to watch the play unfold this way. I saw another comment where someone said it should switch to the sideline view once the ball is handed off or caught. I think it would really work.

I love this perspective. Way more involving in the game. This is what televised sports needs. New ways of viewing to shake up the tired old long range side view.

I loved the SkyCam in this game. Watching the interceptions was amazing - just seeing the recognition and footwork necessary to read and cut off a route was so fun. It's such an interesting and refreshing view. The more SkyCam, the better as far as I'm concerned. I want to see whole teams work together, not just close-ups of a few guys. NFL is finally getting something right!
This type of camera view makes what quarterbacks do seem way more simple (not easier). You can go through progressions and see what theyre seeing and see when theyre throwing to an open man vs giving a receiver a chance at a 50-50 ball. I’d pay to watch games live in this camera view and I know many more would as well.

Seeing it in this view makes these guys look more mortal. But it makes the wide receivers look like mutant athletes lolol
The Skycam is good I mean you could even see that first interception Mariota threw was a really bad decision
Less camera movement, little more zoomed out would be better but hands down better than the side view, you get to see what's going on down field instead of just waiting till he throws it

why isnt this the default view? the standard view shows you none of the game and its only appeal is not knowing whats gonna happen until the exact second it happens because you can't see anything form
00:22 is a great example as to why Mariota eventually lost his starting job. No matter how much coaching a guy gets, if he can’t make this play 99/100x then he cant start for long. His line picked up the blitz perfectly. Throwing on time to the WR he was staring at woulda converted. He instead waited for them to get open instead of anticipating they would. Ball came late and was air mailed anyway. But then 1:30 you’ll get a play where he drops a dime w/ pressure in his face and see the potential and why he’s gonna get another shot at starting w/ ATL. Money throw where he didn’t think much he just reacted

If they figured out how to transition camera angles mid play, this would be great. It's nice to see the play play out, but once the ball moves out a couple yards, the skycam seems odd. Skycam during start of the play, switch to different angle or original broadcast view after a couple seconds. But even that may be tedious.

Sky cam makes the game more interesting. I’d rather have sky cam than a cam that just sticks in the qb the whole time until he throws it. More action this way
I think they should use the normal camera angles/views and use skycam for replays.
Skycam could also be used when it’s 3rd down and long since it’s probably gonna be a pass play.

I would like to see the plays develop and even once they've developed, like on the sensebaugh interception, you can't tell how much room he has, who is in pursuit or anything. I think it's a great instant replay angle to show how things unfold but I wanna see what the rest of the field is doing as it's happening. Skycam every play is like watching the Blair witch project.

You have to use the right angle. Less zoom. It's great when I can see the outside receivers from the beginning. Just as it is in the sequence around 1:19. And please just offer the option to watch solo sky cam like that. Would be awesome.
