Only Ichigo and Yoruichi were capable of doing something against Yhwach and his royal guards, also you have to remember that they didn't think that squad zero was going to lose and the team was made by Urahara in a hurry, they didn't had the time to pick up the best fighter which when you think about it makes sense because at the time Ichigo and his team went to the Soul palace with the help of Urahara every other captain and lieutenant was either busy, exhausted because of a fight or dead lol

The reason Chad, Orihime and Ganju even though he was last minute is because they're apart of the main cast and are the best friends of Ichigo and it was apart of Urahara's plan. There's more people involved but circumstances changed so Urahara let them go on ahead so they can attempt to stop Yhwach. What Megan needs to understand is Kubo's main message in Bleach is about bravery and moving forward and facing danger even in the face of death. That's what Chad, Orihime, Uryu & especially Ichigo represent from start to finish. Its not about them winning or losing. Trust me the anime gave Chad, Orihime, Ganju and especially Uryu wayyyyyy more shine than they got in the manga and we got more coming.
I don't think Ishida knew Ichigo was a Quincy. He knows the history of the conflict from Ryo's book. But he joins up after Ichigo finds out. There isn't an reason to tell Iryu about it. I think only Hashwald and Yuhaba are the only Quincy's that know.

I think it already said that Ganju has the roadmap to that palace which he later gave to Uruhara also he persist to follow them eventhough Ichigo warned him. While Chad is Ichigo's loyal friend and in the OG series already showcased on his motto, to fight beside Ichigo whatever him fighting. Basically the group formed by Uruhara in short period , during the war scenes happened in Soul Society , they are the closest to him , and they can work ASAP, independently cause they are not related to 13squads. Also they didn't even think that Squad Zero will be defeated before them reaching the Palace.
Bleach is in a unique spot because majority of this episode I believe did not happen in the manga. I really hope Kubo can pull off a dope ending to this 🙏🏾

He gave no indication up to this point that he did not see himself as a HUMAN above all else and above all other races. On the contrary. He certainly had his "bad blood" with the Soul Society but never with Humanity/Human World. To deem the entire Humanity/Human World (including his father, btw, who chose not to live as a Quincy...) worthy of extinction and oblivion makes little to no sense. And knowing Uryu has read his grandpa's diaries*, he should know that Y.H. was the one (indirectly) behind his mother's death and certainly ONE of the obstacles impeding the harmony between Quincies and the remaining 3 Worlds for all this time (countless world wars, absorbing their powers and sacrificing them time and time again...I mean, Uryu just saw this happen some episodes ago...). Unless he's just buying Y.H.'s bs and very resumed and tilted version of History and not bothering to investigate any further than that, which wouldn't make sense with Uryu being the rational and supposedly intelligent individual that he is...Right? *«(...) At some point, Ishida Sōken REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE NEW PROGRESS OF THE QUINCY POWERS, such as the Vollständig, and held on to the old Letzt Stil [-> again, completely the opposite of what Uryu is doing...]. When he was EXILED BY THEM, Sōken escaped from the Quincy's hidden realm via a portal, taking with him a device used to activate it. (...) Following his exile, Sōken kept a journal with information on the Wandenreich, YHWACH, and THE TRUTH ABOUT THE DEATH OF URYU’S MOTHER.» Also, Uryu really has no idea what the Soul King could or could not have done to save the Quincies (and again, only has Y.H.'s very biased side of the story...), so it makes no sense to blame him and deem him has some sort of "Judas of the Quincy" to be destroyed, either. In fact, up until 5 or 6 episodes ago, he didn’t even know the Soul King was a real and a somehow “living” entity and had anything to do with the Quincies. So... [They are practically tertiary characters at this point] - This episode flashes back to Uryu reading that book under the bridge, interestingly enough fans had already went back to that moment and even here if you pause on the pages you can loosely see the name Adenyus - This Ichigo vs Uryu battle is an anime original moment. I think a key point to note was that moment right before the final shot, it looked as if something strange was occurring before Uryu released his final attack. - Visually speaking Uryu’s Vollstandig had one key component that stood out compared to the others, it seems that his began from his eyes. Additionally, he doesn't seem to have a Halo like the others. - Sidenote: Thanks to the new editions in this episode, we now know that Ichigo can actually use his Quincy powers at will. (We never see Ichigo intentionally use Blut Vene in the manga)

To be fair Orihime's hacks seem to be second only to the Soul King. But she's a kind person in nature so she doesn't have anything offensive. She has insane feats and more to come. Chad on the other hand is a monster...in pretty much any other show. Remember he can fight Arrancar. Which physically is stronger than Quencies. Remember the Jail was destroyed by meh Arrancar and needed to borrow his Majesty's hacks. Honestly I seen a fun debate of the Esparda vs Quincies if the Quincies didn't have Yhwach, now if they did and they had Esparda it's still up to debate. Because we have to factor in which Aizen and which Yhwach. Ganju is trash...lets get that out of the way. He did nothing for years and it shows. It's hard to tell how much Ichigo's crew actually grew without looking at the others. But to give you an idea think of Yoruichi. She was less relevant so far than Orihime...in fact she's about on par as Chad except so far Chad didn't take any damage. This gives you an idea how much they grew...but they are essentially fighting Gods. You can laugh all you want at how they can't stop Yhwach's guards but they really haven't discussed what their hack abilities are yet...

Damn i might drop you guys, wayyyy to focused on Chad. Like come on and just accept they just aren't strong enough at least he is actually trying. Orihime is being a qeen tho, she is doing a great job at what she does great, defense and healing. So much going on this episode and the talking point is Chad is sad, especially when she is talking about over when Ichigo and Uryu is fighting. I understand wanting to see more of Chad tho, but getting way to pressed about it.

To be fair Orihime's hacks seem to be second only to the Soul King. But she's a kind person in nature so she doesn't have anything offensive. She has insane feats and more to come. Chad on the other hand is a monster...in pretty much any other show. Remember he can fight Arrancar. Which physically is stronger than Quencies. Remember the Jail was destroyed by meh Arrancar and needed to borrow his Majesty's hacks.
Honestly I seen a fun debate of the Esparda vs Quincies if the Quincies didn't have Yhwach, now if they did and they had Esparda it's still up to debate. Because we have to factor in which Aizen and which Yhwach. Ganju is trash...lets get that out of the way. He did nothing for years and it shows.
It's hard to tell how much Ichigo's crew actually grew without looking at the others. But to give you an idea think of Yoruichi. She was less relevant so far than Orihime...in fact she's about on par as Chad except so far Chad didn't take any damage. This gives you an idea how much they grew...but they are essentially fighting Gods. You can laugh all you want at how they can't stop Yhwach's guards but they really haven't discussed what their hack abilities are yet...

the Getsuga Jujisho could kill Uryu. The minimal damage it could do to Uryu is basically blowing a piece of his body off Like how Candice lost an arm by getting hit by it. It is an attack you can't just throw at anybody and expect the enemy get out with all their limbs intact.

Either way everything ichida did in this arch was useless and served zero purpose. In only a few second aizen did more to defeat yhwach that ishida did in the whole bleach anime.

I point to what it is, but I am not that hype compared to the other cours, And I feel like the fights are at the point of all bleach arcs where they just feel like a slog to get through, because you know the outcome somewhat.
It's like I want to enjoy and get hype about it, but I just feel any stakes. Ichigo did not use bankai, Aizen is yet to come, and the rest of the cast are going to get massive asspull powerups and they are going to go up against Ywach's henchmen....And if with Ishida if it's like he is the "gin to aizen", I will lose my shit
