I love the blast effects & they should of never stopped giving us them! For my fav jet fire
As a wise man once said "BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSHHHHH!!!!"
@@markmontgomeryii9172 oh yes 👍
Fun and great questions. The blast effects from Jetfire are great. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for taking my question about blast effects. My favorite blast effect is also the Jetfire pieces
I just might have a shot at finally meeting, Peter Cullen this month! He's always been on my "Bucket List" of G1 actors from the great Sunbow run.
Congrats! I already got his autograph last year, but I am definitely going to be at TFCon LA to see him!
My favorite blast effect are definitely the ones from the Tricranius set. I’m sure Trevor from the Patreon would agree with that pick. Reason being though is because Pink and Blue are my favorite color combo so to get blast effects in those colors it just spoke to me. The blast effects just scream 1980s to me and I even got a second set on the Hasbro Pules 40% off sale last year.
If we assume each song is 3 minutes long, and were played back-to-back for 8 hours (assuming 8 hours for each day) for 3 days. That means your buddy would have heard The Touch and Dare 10 times each, every hour. Meaning he would have heard each song 80 times a day, over the course of 3 days would be 240 times for each song over the weekend, or 480 times total.
Bandai's 30 Minutes Missions line has some blast effect kits that can plug into standard 3mm ports, and they're pretty cheap. I just checked the website for one of my local hobby shops and they're selling for about CAN$8 for a pack. Other model companies (Korobukiya, Wave, etc.) also produce similar sets.
The 2016 concert was my first concert ever and it will always stick with me.
I think there needs to be bigger blast effects maybe not for figures but for display purposes. Like big explosions effects or an effect where it’s a half blown up energon tube with sparks flying off it then bundle some of the smaller gun effects with it.
Packing them with a deluxe might not be the best route, if the deluxe isn’t the best no one is gonna want it or the blast effects colours might be limited it’s a route but there could be better.
If I had to pick blast effects it’s omegas or jetfires both are great and work with most weapons, as for a deluxe scrapbook is a solid pick or maybe powerlinx hotshot with effects could be a thing
I love the blast effects. I really wish they would just do some packs for them. I really don't want to pay for a figure I'm just going to resell or toss in a drawer.
I really liked the red blast effects that came in the Tricranius set, they look great on the new Legacy Evo Tarn
I read about that concert at Botcon 2016 in the Collector's Club magazine. It looked so cool.
I love Stan Bush. Still haven't had a chance to see him in concert yet.
i would love a blast effects assortment. Maybe a paired set with the armada minicon weapons that matches against the armada minicon powerups.
I'll admit, I was really bummed opening GS Black Zarak and realizing it didn't come with blast effects like Omega Supreme and the Ark did...
The one I use the most is probably the one that came with SS86 Scourge, which, on a related note, I found really confusing. Why do Scourge and Hot Rod get blast effects but not figures like Grimlock. On a related note, the fact the Core class Spike came with 2 blast effects that don't work with a lot of other blast effect ports drives me nuts. (ex: I found they fit on the Siege Rumble/Frenzy mold's hands, but not on Warpath's turret gun.
I made it to the 2016 botcon and that concert, it was a pretty cool event.
I also would like to be able to buy blast effects. I think something like $3-$5 blind bags would be a good option for them. I never really considered them until they started coming out with WFC and I like them enough to buy blind bags at a reasonable price now.
Jetfire's blast effects are the best hands down for me.
I only have 9 effect parts and my favorite has to be siege/earthrise Rungs
my favorite blast effects are the flame effects from legacy tm2 megatron and tlk leader megatron. also partial to the flaming sword effect from Amazon Greenlight (which really needs to be used again outside of that stupidly expensive set)
Hasbro's constant price hikes would be more palatable if they at least threw consumers a bone and added a blast effect with deluxe figures. Increasing prices by, say, $1 to add a piece that maybe costs 25 cents to produce would still make them more money. Anyway, regarding Stan Bush, I am surprised that he hasn't had more success or that "The Touch" and "Dare" didn't seem to get much (if any) radio time.
I still don't get why they can't do Blast Effects packs, they could probably make stuff like that as Pulse Exclusives. I Feel like there's so much they can make if they could make it a Pulse Exclusives, because then they won't be tied to worrying rather or not it would sell in retail stores. Especially if fans/collectors are core people to purchase them. They could just make a limited amount of Blast Effects, Weapons Packs, and etc. Then again I don't know how well Pulse Exclusive do well for Hasbro, but it just feels like there's so much more potential in that space.
Wish they’d put tricranius back in stock
Not only blast effects but weapons too.
The Siege Jetfire blast effects are the best by far.
I dig the blast effects, I even buy the micro blaster mini bots from the WFC series just to have extra blast effects
I heard some have a tendency to melt into colorful goo.
I would buy a set of all blast effects. I like the Jetfire blast effects
Certain things like blast effects would go well with weaponizers or just sold alone. Not needed with main figures.
Jetfire's is the best, thou if they were to do another pack similar to the Kingdom one, I would like the effects to be different colours again, maybe some dark purple, sort of in the colours used during G1 Cartoon when the bots and cons are battling it out, the ones that came in the Kingdom pack were weird choice of colours, thou I did buy two of those packs mainly for the effects
I really want the rainbow blast effects but don't want to buy the J.Balvin Soundwave to get them.
I wouldn't pay more than $5 for a pack of blast effects
"Old"....I don't know what to say
WhoTF cares about “blast effects”?
This hobby has gone to the STUPID
