+Don Winslow Especially since they keep bringing him back in the Clone Wars and Rebels. I think there is even more story to be told now than when Ep. I came out.
Good to see Ray Park again, and to see him as just a regular guy. I often seem to notice that a lot of actors that I've seen play villainous roles seem to be really nice guys in real life, and humble and funny. :) Ian McDiarmid and Ray Park both seem to be like this, and it's so nice. :D I didn't know that Ray Park was the Headless Horseman in Sleepy Hollow, interesting bit of trivia. LOL I loved when he signed the little boy's lightsaber, that was so nice of him, it made that kid so happy. :D Darth Maul is a pretty memorable character, but is it just me or could he have been in a lot more of The Phantom Menace? I mean, he gets a lot of buildup and whatnot, but he gets so little screen time, which is a shame, he should have gotten more.
We need a what if battle between Hayden and Ray Park, those two did the best lightsaber fighting of all the actors in my opinion, and they can both still do it, easily.
The guy mentions both Breakdance and Monkey Magic within a minute, and then makes a Dalek reference, plus immediately points out the use of Prodigy in that montage. I think Ray Park my be the luckiest, most bad ass geek of all time.
I like how the host (*who I only knew from seeing his username used on Twitter - I haven't seen any of the shows he's done voices. I'll have to look them up!) has turned to the Dark Side with his clothing for this panel! 😉 👍 (*Is his name James Arnold Taylor, or something? I've only seen him on these Celebration panels - I didn't really know what he did, or who he was. Loved the voices he did when he was introducing Anthony Daniels on *his* panel.)
Ray Park is a frickin sick martial artists and hes just better when he basically says nothing in his movies and lets just fighting do the talking. Hes fuckin cool as Snake Eyes and hes just colossal as Darth Maul, I'll never forget his entrance in ep1, still the best ever duel scene of the saga (so far).
Very sad that Darht Maul didn't get more scenes in the movie, I thought that they should have put him in the second movie too..hopefully we may say a spin off since we haven't seen his death in the hands of Palpatin in the clone wars series.
James should’ve asked Ray about Sam and Maul in clone wars, not to take the focus away from Ray, but just aak him if he’s seen the clone wars, met Sam, at this point 2015, I know he met him later of course, if he’d like to return as Maul, that’s what the fans wanna know, he always gets asked the same every year. Always ask the interesting questions others don’t, why only the fans. And James could just tell Ray and the audience a little about working with Sam on clone wars. I know it’s a Ray panel, but Maul in clone wars is such an imporrtant part of the characters, and in Rebels and Solo know, which is after this of course. And before you all say “they talked about it”, yeah, but first when they got into the audience questions, and Ray brought it up himself, not how it should be.
Think they were both in talks with Disney at that point for the kenobi show, and wanted to wait going to celebration till that was all sorted out and surprise people. Also, some of the big movie actors don’t do stuff like celebration, cause they simply don’t have time, or don’t like being among so many people.
Not sure how they could do a feature-length movie with Maul as a main character, what with his lines having to be dubbed like in TPM. Maybe a secondary character; the villain, or something.
38:21 truly amazing that my own father got to speak to THE Ray Park, truly unforgettable moment.
A Darth Maul movie needs to happen! Ray Park would be AMAZING! Ray deserves it. The fans deserve it. The Star Wars universe deserves it.
+Don Winslow Amen!
Nah, he's alive, I rather see him in episode 8 or 9
