- TSO Products new mft/3 extension table is awesome. I'm sure all of you have had a board that just falls right off the edge of your mft as soon as you complete the cut. Well TSO has solved that problem. This is definitely worth checking out! Here are the links:

Seems a nice product. What do you recommend though a second MFT or this instead ?
It all depends on your situation and what you are doing work wise. If you just need this for cutoff support and the extra work surface, this is less than $200. Another MFT is about $800+
I have a question on using the tape measure. Is it the same measurement if you use the front and pull back vs butt the front up against a surface? It seems like theres some wiggle no matter the cost / quality of the tape.
The tapes are made that way with play in the blade to account for the inside and outside measurements. If you push the tape against say a wall, it will be the same measurement if you hook it on a piece and pull the tape.

It’s on the list of upcoming videos, but I have so much content lined up that I have to get out first. But I will definitely do it.
Ever see the Dashboard tables? It’s like an MFT table on steroids. Very expensive though. Just bought a house in NJ and money is tight so I couldn’t buy the full table so I opted to upgrade my MFT with what I believe was called MFT sanity bundle and I love it.
Yes I have seen dashboard. They seem like Great products and yes very expensive. I do not have any experience with them. If you are a professional and work on jobsites, then this is more portable and lightweight and easy to install and remove. Two mft’s take up a lot of space and are heavy.
What a faff......What happened to the Festool quick set up and use here....I suppose they will introduce a hinge mechanism eventually for when the extennsion isn't needed or in transport.
It’s easy on and easy off, you can just hook it on the side and push the spring loaded bolts into the track and tighten them down. You don’t have to slide it on or off like I did.
