(if you wanna watch the other videos to try and piece things together somewhat, check the Remedies playlist on my channel) Emeria Elstrome was born and spent their life on the Isle of the Chosen, a piece of land that while scrubbed from many maps held some of the most influential sorcerers and businessmen of the world. The cult they were born into as a byproduct was one run by influential and arcane bloodlines, originally six sorcerer families that each generation attempted to birth and train one successor that would attempt godhood, as per the beliefs of the cult. However, while Emeria was born into one of these families, they were born a second child - a taboo that they wouldn't be able to live down, especially given their older brother was already a sorcerer with abilities far surpassing their own. As a result, Emeria found themself resentful of almost everyone- especially their brother Tifoli, going to great lengths to try and surpass him, and ultimately failing to do so. At some point in their adult life, Emeria's father, Angus, came to them with the news that he'd chosen them over Tifoli to be the families successor. This, however, proved to be a falsehood when Emeria toasted their victory, drinking from a poisoned cup. Tifoli, knowing more in that moment than Emeria, killed their shared father as a result, sustaining an injury from a dagger that left him poisoned too. However this would prove to only anger Emeria, who at this point assumed Tifoli had struck out of jealousy- and in response they would pursue him for some time, trying to enact their own revenge for their father, while the poison slowly caught up. Myosoti Sylvatica, Emeria's childhood best friend and at points lost love, had long had been planning. Myo and Tifoli had for some time been engaged, something that turned Emeria further against the two- but the engagement was part of a ruse, a larger plan, one of leaving the island. They both hoped to bring Emeria with them, but knew that they wouldn't come willingly, so they worked for some time behind the scenes. While they did Emeria had fought tooth and nail for a title they'd never receive. Plans were quickly changed, however, when both Tifoli and Emeria were poisoned, Emeria pursuing their brother off the island in a rage, determined to kill him before they themself would die. There was collateral damage in the rampaging fire that followed. Before Emeria could kill him, however, Myosoti intervened, killing Emeria first. Myosoti had a plan- she worked quick to try and save Emeria. With the poison they were a lost cause, but could she revive them quickly, then maybe- However that was not what ultimately happened. Emeria was dead. Some time later, a creature that was not Emeria woke up in the field in which they died. Alstro - a word forged from the fractured memory of 'Elstrome' - awoke for the first time. This was not Emeria, however they would eventually come to be familiar with them. Searching for a family they had never known, Alstro over some time discovered that family was closer than they had thought- they got help from Emeria's mother who had been previously assumed dead, as well as suffered run ins with Myosoti and Tifoli, who hadn't yet known what exactly they were. More importantly, however, they became aware of Emeria's growing presence tucked somewhere deep inside their head. They had been born out of a botched reincarnation spell. Starting to remember and growing in consciousness, Emeria became aware of themself again, stuck now inside the mind of a child. At some point it became clear that their presence was beginning to threaten Alstro's life, and they were forced to make a choice between their existence and Alstro's. And they chose to let Alstro live. However, something went wrong. During their attempt to sever themself from Alstro, their mother on the outside successfully reincarnated them, though their magic was left relinquished to the child. The child who now wasn't waking up. This particular video takes place right after Emeria's return. While working to try and reawaken Alstro they grapple with the life and the people that came from it- the ones that now feel like they come from the past of someone already dead. Their memories aren't fully back yet- but Emeria knows enough to wonder why exactly they should have ever been granted a second chance at life. And with Tifoli himself now dying of the same poison, and Myosoti grappling with the outcome of their death and some other greater consequences, they now have to decide exactly what sort of person they're going to be, and who they might keep in their new life.

My favourite thing is when RUclips shows me cool animations of people's clearly beloved characters. Goddamn great song choice! I love your use of colour. It really gets across the emotion. I also love the way you highlight the relevant lyrics with your really cool timing!!!
This is gorgeous, I hope you know youve made a truly beautiful video!! The colors throughout the whole video are INCREDIBLE but I especially like how they switch between hues of blue then green nearing the end to show emotional changes and how each time the lyric of "hey stop, youre doing this again." Is brought back to the little fluffy creature trying to calm the other one down. I cant express how much I love this work, ITS SO GOOD
