I’ve seen tons and I mean TONS of game recommendations but nothing quite captured what I’m looking for the way this video does: spooky vibes, cozy beautiful art style, easy gameplay, intriguing stories, AND voice acting? This is everything
The only gathering and crafting game I've played is Spiritfarer. It's not my favorite genre of gameplay but maybe I could someday give more of those a try? I think the fact that Spiritfarer had a story and a bit of platforming helped break up the tasks for me but I typically like games that have a beginning and end.
love that you included pinstripe! i loved it way back when, and wow considering how much i loved oxenfree (and just finished the sequel too and itching to play a similar one) im surprised i have never seen or heard of afterparty. thanks for bringing it to my attention, i love how it looks already!
it's so good!!!! you should try afterparty if you haven't already. since it's made by the same gamemakers, some of the voice actors from oxenfree are in it and the writing feels familiar. it's more comedy than spooky but you could definitely tell the same people made it!
@@sarawithoutanH i'm in the same boat as you with afterparty actually! i've played it before but i really want to revisit it to explore a little more and see what other paths i can take :)
I'm a little late but I think you'd really like The Darkside Detective games. They are so much fun. I believe they are on switch. Overall very easy to play and have a lot of silly puns in the games.
feeling seen as a nancy drew girly 💖 i love mystery games, the professor layton games were my favorite growing up and this summer i got really into ace attorney! also i've had my eye on the jenny leclue game so this might be the push i need to buy it 👀
Jenny Leclue is so good!! I think you’ll like it based on the other games you said you like! I’ve had Ace Attorney on my wishlist for a while - I should probably get it!!

Mine is definitely Wytchwood! I've played through 2x and I know I'll pick it back up again. It's more of a gathering and crafting game which I love.

Have you played Sally Face? idk if I’d call it “cozy” bc of the content, but easy gameplay and a disturbing and engaging gameplay!!
I think I have that on my wishlist! But I’ll definitely bump it up in priority based on your recommendation!! 💗
