    Brilliant! One footnote (literally): there were only three or four steps to the entrance originally; the street level was later lowered and that required additional steps which today consequently have more emphasis than Bernini intended.

      Ferrus91 yes, Bernini used him often to execute his ideas: the composition was designed by Bernini himself.

    Wow. The first view of the interior knocked my socks off, lol.
    I'm in love with the colored pillars (of all things)... But this is yet another place I could get lost in.
