The funny thing is that Colonna family still exist today's.
It have 921 years of history, and still today it gives us some of the best characters of Italian politics.
The last one was an European diplomat in the '80s.
Yes in fact Prince Colonna and his family still live in this palazzo.
You better believe they still exist…they happen to be one of the family bloodlines that are running the world behind the scenes and they want that fact to stay hidden. The other 12 or so families are the same.
@@ColoredGlass777 we Italians are not hunger for power.
the colonna are an illuminati family along with the farnase orsini conti medici aldobrandini gaetani borga chigi and several others. these people have inslaved the world through usary . they are all bankers . usary used to be illegal because it siphon off the wealth of people and puts into the hands of the one percent . most of the world doesn't realize they we are debt slaves to these banking cartels. I'm sure these families have castles all over Europe
They rule the world

Incredible! I wonder how much of the marble floors and decoration was farmed from Roman ruins right there on the property and the surrounding area?
Good question! I'm not sure if any of it was from Roman ruins but it's always possible!

Hi. I may be visiting Rome again this Christmas time. What are the best things to do for new years eve in Rome? Or the bust public gatherings i should say.
Thanks you for your content
Hello Ricco and thanks a lot for watching my videos. Sorry for the late reply - If you did visit Rome over the Christmas and New Year's holidays, I hope you had a wonderful time!
@@Romewise thank you, but you didn't answer my question.
@@RiccoMarselino Ah my apologies. I had assumed that since New Year's is past, you did not want an answer about what to do for New Year's in Rome. If you are still interested in this for next year, I have a whole page dedicated to this topic on my website, and I update it every year with whatever is current. This year, the big public event in Circus Maximus was cancelled but I hope it will be back next year.
Here is the page so you can get more detailed information:

Sorry,"ones of the most stunning galleries of Roma",no,he is THE MOST STUNNING GALLERIE of this World!!!!
For me it's hard to pick one specific gallery in Rome as the MOST stunning but this one is certainly close to the top!
I haven't visited Palacio Colonna, but it's certainly one of the most stunning palaces in the world. I think the most stunning palace in the world is Versailles, but Colonna is right at the top alongside Versailles and the Hermitage.
Hello! We are heading back to Rome for a few days before heading down to the souther part of Italia. Do you offer private guiding?
Thanks so much for your kind comments. I am not a licensed tour guide, so no, I don't give tours. But thank you for asking!
How much does the ticket cost?🤯😍😍😍😍
It depends on the ticket but they range from 15-25 Euros. You can visit their website to see costs and book. www.galleriacolonna.it/en/info/
can i ask a english question? what does romewise mean?what does ---wise mean?
-wise means "smart about" and it also means "regarding". So Romewise is about Rome and it's how to be smart about Rome!
@@Romewise grazie mille :)
There was the biggest of all ancient temples, but it was fully destroyed for its materials in the renaissance, what a loss, the unique dodecastyle temple in ancient Rome.
Yes it's true so many things from Ancient Rome were destroyed throughout the centuries, even in the 20th century. I'm grateful for what we still do have.
Why do you wear your knickers on your face?
When I made this video, it was the law in Italy that we had to wear masks indoors and outdoors. I did not stop working during the pandemic so some of my videos show me wearing a mask.
OMG, who wears a mask in the outdoors.
Well, we all did back when I filmed this video. The law of that moment was that masks were required both indoors and outdoors and most of us complied. Today there is no longer such a law and I don't wear it any more.
@@Romewise - and all the people obeyed such blatantly ridiculous "laws"!
... If your government told all of you to jump off the roof of a tall building you'd do that too???
