This video is overly underrated.. Why? Because this is the only cover of this song which follows the exact scale variation as the original. I have seen almost all the covers of this song. But i know this is extremely hard to sing because of the scale changes from 01:58 to 02:30 mins. This is EXACTLY how Anuv sings it in the studio recorded song. And even he doesn't do this in live shows as it mostly needs retakes in order to perfect the melody.
The melody goes like, " (normal scale)haan ek din kabhi koi, jab bhi padhe kahani teri (now one scale up) lagta mujhe mere naam ka, zikr kahin bhi hoga (going into falsetto) nahi, haan main yahin meri aankho me to dekho"..!
All the other people who sang the cover for this song, most of them just skipped the hardest part and if they had sung the part after that 01:58 mark then they have adjusted the scale midway to accommodate their regular vocal range as most people just don't have that range. This guy does.. yes this guy used back up vocals but that just adds to the perfection 🙂
